(SPOT.ph) Unlike day-to-day cooking, baking is a carefully timed process that requires accurately measured ingredients and a lot of patience. It's a lot more tricky for bakeshops and dessert stores when they have to follow their schedule to meet cake orders. Quezon City bakery Wadough's, for their part, see to it that they update their customers regarding the process—even a blow-by-blow account of it.
Wadough's Funny Update on Cake Orders
"Gaano kami ka-specific mag-update? We bake our cakes one day before pick-up para siguradong fresh at moist pagdating sa inyo," they said in a Facebook post on March 1, when they gained online buzz for a funny conversation with one of their customers in the past.
"Any updates po sa cake?" asked a customer. Turns out, the cake order isn't scheduled for another couple of days.
"Gusto ko lang po malaman update," the customer asked again, to which Wadough's replied: "Harina pa lang siya today. We bake 20's order tomorrow."
The Facebook post has since earned more than 3,400 shares, more than 700 comments, and more than 18,000 LOLs. Likewise, the Instagram post has also gone viral with 2,000 likes.
Wadough's signature cakes include their Black Bottom Cake (P1,700), Pistachio Sans Creme Brulee (P2,000), Apo Espresso (P1,700), and Gloria Ube Cake (P1,400). They also serve novelty cakes, like a money cake, rainbow cake, drip cake, and beer cake (yes, cakes topped with a beer of choice).

Their minimalist cakes get the most attention, especially the ones with funny dedications: "Uulitin ko, break na tayo!", "Nairaos din jusq.", "rupok mo talaga. hbd." and more.
Wadough's is at 154 Maginhawa Street, Diliman, Quezon City. It is open daily for dine-in and pick-up from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. For more information, follow Wadough's on Facebook.
