(SPOT.ph) Several studies have shown that dogs are actually smarter than we think. More than just doing commands like "fetch" and "sit," well-trained ones can walk the streets without a leash and have good recall. They can even go home alone after a session at the pet groomer, Mitzi Pauline Fabian—the owner of five-year-old Fuffy—shared online on Monday afternoon, February 20.
"Fuffy, good boy, iwan mo [siya] sa nag-grooming sa kanya sa Doggieland tapos after pagupitan, [sabi] ko palabasin lang nila, marunong [siya] umuwi mag-isa. Tatahol lang [siya] kapag [nasa] labas na [siya] forda independent ang dog," Fabian said on Facebook. The trending post has earned more than 42,000 shares, as of writing.

She also shared a screencap of a Viber conversation with the staff of Doggieland for updates on the time when Fuffy left the groomer and then reached home around four minutes later. The distance from Doggieland to their house is just about 130 meters with no crossing required.

Fuffy just celebrated his fifth birthday in January. He got all dressed up to have a photoshoot with his whole family at Sundays Studio.

Sometimes, he helps guard their tailoring shop—quietly. Now, that's a good boy.
