Not-So-Little Doggo Loves Riding the Jeepney in Quezon City

(SPOT.ph) Given the daily traffic jam and long queues at the terminals, commuting is never easy in Metro Manila. It gets a lot harder when you're traveling with pets. So when a big golden retriever is allowed to ride a jeepney, it's hard to miss that smiling face. Aki, who you can find on social media as Aki the Goldie, has recently gone viral for being the cute not-so-little puppy that he is while riding a jeep in Quezon City.

Viral Dog Riding a Public Jeep in Quezon City

"Henlo kuya, bayad po - isang golden, sa may QC circle lang," the caption said in a post dated April 10. Aki is seen on the passenger's seat, right beside the driver.

According to owner Iza Dolores in a chat with SPOT.ph, Aki is used to riding the public jeep.

"At first, we kept him distracted with treats, then eventually he got used to it and now knows how to sit and behave during the trip. For public jeep, they always allow Aki to ride so far. We have not yet tried the bus/train. We tried taking a taxi, some drivers don’t allow Aki because of his fur but there a lot naman who are dog lovers din," she explained.

Aki turns three this July. Here's to more happy jeepney rides, Aki!
