(SPOT.ph) Let's be real, bookworms. Nothing and no one—not even divine intervention—can deter you from buying more books, especially when the titles are on sale. In fact, there's no such thing as a tower of unread books collecting dust at home—we know you're still going to fill your carts to the brim. Sure, we're only a day away from the much-anticipated Manila International Book Fair, but just in case you don't fancy a trip to Pasay this week, there's another book fair to add to your calendar. The best part? You won't even have to go outside of your home in order to score a great deal at Aklatan Book Fair 2022.

Happening this September 22 and 23, the Aklatan Book Fair 2022 will be held exclusively on Shopee courtesy of The Book Development Association of the Philippines. It will be the online fair's third run.

"The Aklatan Book Fair will surely inspire a lot of interest not only in the FRCA-nominated titles but in the local literature as a whole," said Adarna House vice president and BDAP trustee Ani Almario in a statement.

Book lovers can expect a wide range of titles—from local authors and more than 30 publishers and booksellers—at discounted prices. For as low as P99, the spotlight will also be on the nominated books across fifteen categories (Fiction, Graphic Novels, Nonfiction, Romance, Humor, and Young Adult, among others) in the Filipino Readers' Choice Awards 2022, an online popular choice award revived by the Book Development Association.

Now, in case you love a nominated book a little too much, you can vote for your favorite one online until September 23, 11:59 p.m. Plus, you can share your love for a particular title with your friends seeing as you can get up to 10% slashed off on bestselling titles.
