MUJI Announces Three-Floor Flagship Store in Makati
Three whole floors of MUJI essentials.
(SPOT.ph)If you've ever stepped foot into the Muji stores in SM North Edsa and SM Mall of Asia, you’d know they're big. They can be considered flagship stores just by their size alone. But just when you think Mujis in Manila couldn’t get any bigger, the cult-fave Japanese brand proves you wrong. It’s opening a flagship store in the country soon and it promises not one, not two, but three whole floors of minimalist—read: basics but desirable—household essentials, garments, stationery, and more.

MUJI to open a three-floor flagship store in Glorietta 3.
There are two other Mujis in the Makati area: the one next to Hermes in Greenbelt 3 and in Power Plant Mall. The next one will be Makati’s Muji Number 3, and will be the biggest Muji store in the Philippines. Unless they’re planning another store like the one in Ginza in Tokyo which is 10 floors (including the Muji hotel) and is the biggest in the world.
This three-floor outpost is opening in the second quarter of this year.
And if you’re avid Muji visitors like us, you’re already crossing your fingers that there will be more Muji snacks in this flagship outlet, not to mention more Muji Coffee Counters. We definitely expect to see the whole Muji range of garments, household stuff, and concepts. We want to avail of their embroidery too, and the other services they offer. It’s the flagship, after all.

The MUJI flagship store will open in the second quarter of this year and will be located at Glorietta 3 in Makati.
