They sell books, too!
(SPOT.ph) Despite the fact that pretty much every song ever written is instantly available right at your finger tips thanks to streaming services like Spotify or Apple Music, there's a certain pleasure you can get from listening to music the old-fashioned way that just can't be replicated. Owning a collection of vinyl records on display in your home and blasting your favorite tunes from decades across history is an art that will never truly die. If you're on the lookout for record stores to fill your personal stockpile or you just want to see what all the hype is about, you'll want to take a trip to Anthology in Iloilo City!
This ultra-cool retro-inspired store is lined wall to wall with records both old and new. You'll spot classic acts like The Beatles, The Beach Boys, and Fleetwood Mac as well as contemporary names like Tame Impala, Eminem, and Alanis Morissette. They even carry movie soundtrack records from some of your fave feature films. The shop itself is adorned with kitschy trinkets and decorated in rustic, old-school furniture and interiors that bring to mind the hippie styles of the 1960s. Plus, they sell books, too. You'll have a blast just browsing around!
