ICYDK: Entrance Is Free at This Eco-Adventure Park Near Metro Manila

(SPOT.ph) Growing up, we've always seen the Hinulugang Taktak in our Sibika or HEKASI books as one of the must-see natural wonders of Luzon. Despite this messaging, it hasn't always received the most positive remarks from visitors. But in 2020, the local government renovated and relaunched it as a nature and adventure park. As if the new attractions weren't appealing enough, they also recently made admissions to the park 100% free! Grab your backpack, wear your most comfortable sneakers, and check out all the free things to do at Hinulugang Taktak Nature & Adventure Park.

Check out everything you can do at Hinulugang Taktak Nature & Adventure Park:

Open from Tuesdays to Sundays, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.,  the park and its attractions can now be enjoyed sans extra costs.

Gone are the days when visiting this part of Antipolo just meant admiring the scenic 21-meter-high waterfall. Now you can also enjoy blood-pumping and thrilling activities in the park, like wall climbing, hanging bridge and canopy walks, rappelling,  swimming, and spider web trekking without any extra fees.

Guests don't even need to register or reserve ahead. They can just drop by during park hours and enjoy everything the park has to offer. Although, it is still best to get there early as everything is on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Heads up, as part of the park's safety regulations, only guests 14 years old and above will be allowed to take part in the activities. Visitors are also reminded to dress appropriately for the activities. Avoid wearing dresses, skirts, sandals, doll shoes, high heels, Crocs, and bicycle shoes while in the park.

Hinulugang Taktak Nature & Adventure Park is along Daang Bakal Road, Sitio Taktak Barangay De La Paz, Antipolo, Rizal. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Entrance is free. For more information, visit Hinulugang Taktak Nature & Adventure Park's Facebook page.
