But if you're a Philippine Airlines frequent flyer and part of the Mabuhay Miles Program, you are entitled to access the Mabuhay Lounge. The flag carrier is the only airline that has a lounge at Ninoy Aquino International Airport . It sounds pretty exclusive—more so than Marhaba and PAGGS airport lounges, and you're not wrong.

What's inside the Philippine Airlines Mabuhay Lounge:

Philippine Airlines' (PAL) Mabuhay Lounges have comfortable chairs and sofas, so you don't need to endure the uncomfy metal chairs at the airport. The seats have power outlets so you can charge your gadgets while you yourself are recharging before boarding the plane.

One of the best things at Mabuhay Lounge is the buffet for pre-boarding grub and refreshments. The free-flowing drinks include coffee, tea, juice, soda, and beer; and the unlimited food selection includes sandwiches, pastries, salad station, dessert, and of course, the legendary Arroz Caldo that even non-PAL flyers know about.

Other amenities you can find inside the Mabuhay Lounge are the shower room, a rack of reading materials, a television with flight updates, and a view of the airport runway.

Who can enter the Philippine Airlines Mabuhay Lounge:

Mabuhay Miles is Philippine Airlines’ frequent flyer program. One of the perks of being a Mabuhay Miles cardholder is the benefit of staying at a Mabuhay Lounge for free.

For the Mabuhay Lounge at Terminal 2, those in business class can enter the lounge. So as a Premier Elite cardholder and a companion, and a Million Miler member and two companions.

For the Mabuhay Lounge at Terminal 2, those in business class can enter the lounge. So as a Premier Elite cardholder and a companion, and a Million Miler member and two companions.

As for the other Mabuhay Lounges in Cebu, Davao, and Iloilo, the following are granted access: Business Class, Million Miler with two companions, Premier Elite with one companion, Elite, Comfort Class, and NR.

Lastly, for international partner lounges—including MNL Terminal 1, the following can have access to the lounge: Business Class, Million Miler with two companions, Premier Elite with one companion, Elite, and NR.

Where is Philippine Airlines Mabuhay Lounge:

There are 10 Mabuhay Lounges located at international airports across the country which are the following:

Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA)

Mabuhay Lounge is located at the airport's Terminal 2. There's an entrance at the Northwing, near Gate 7, and at the Southwing, near Gate 10. Both are open daily from 12 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Mactan-Cebu International Airport

There are two Mabuhay Lounges at the Cebu airport. There's one at Cebu T1 (Domestic Terminal) that is open 24/7 and there's another at Cebu T2 (International Terminal).

The PAL lounge at Terminal 2 is open from 4 a.m. to 8 a.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. It is also open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. for Cebu-Bangkok passengers on Tuesdays and Saturdays; and from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. for Cebu-Incheon passengers daily.

Francisco Bangoy International Airport

The Mabuhay Lounge at Davao's airport is open daily from 1:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Iloilo International Airport

Philippine Airlines' Mabuhay Lounge inside Iloilo's airport is open daily from 3 a.m. to 10 p.m.

According to the Philippine Airlines website, the Mabuhay Lounges at the Bacolod, Cagayan De Oro, General Santos, and Puerto Princesa are closed until further notice.
