In this city of hacienderos and hacienderas, legendary star-crossed lovers living in pre-colonial houses, and the undisputed best inasal in the country, expect a jam-packed itinerary, especially if you’re staying only a few days. The Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod has 150 rooms and three room types to suit the needs of all kinds of guests visiting Bacolod. Whether you’re a leisure or business traveler, traveling with family and friends, or going solo, this hotel's rooms are designed for comfort and convenience.
The Superior Rooms (25 square meters), Deluxe Rooms (25 square meters), and Junior Suites (49 square meters) are all equipped with modern amenities such as a smart TV, tea-and-coffee corner, refrigerator, work desk, multiple USB ports, and plush king-sized or twin beds.
All rooms have their toilet and bath, with the Junior Suites equipped with a bathtub. Bathrobes, room slippers, an iron and ironing stand, and a safety box are available across all three room types.
In addition, the Junior Suite can be connected to a Deluxe or Superior Room for visitors traveling in large groups.

Make sure to check out the tiangge or stalls on the ground floor near the entrance to Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod which sell local delicacies and crafts—the stall Simply by Hand sells really cute pet scarves and equally charming handmade trinkets for humans. From the hotel, you can also go on a stroll to Bacolod Public Plaza and San Sebastian Cathedral.
The impressive Negros Occidental Provincial Capitol, as well as the park, lagoon, and Negros Museum within its sprawling grounds, is also not too far away from the hotel.
Where to Eat in Bacolod
When in Bacolod, the first thing in most people’s itinerary is eating. Well, it would do you well if you do the same, with the city being one of the culinary powerhouses of the Philippines. Its friendly rivalry with neighboring Iloilo as to which has the more namit gid cuisine adds a layer of excitement and a dose of good humor.
If you’re going to Bacolod with food in mind, your tummy will thank you if you book a room at the Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod. As soon as you land, you can head straight to the hotel, check in, freshen up, and grab an order of chicken inasal, one of Bacolod’s gifts to Philippine gastronomy, in any of the stalls at Manokan Country.
This iconic strip of inasal stalls sits just right across the department store of SM City Bacolod, a mere five-minute walk—or even less if you can’t wait to take a bite off that perfectly grilled paa!—from the hotel. Even better news, our foodie readers, is that Manokan Country is ready to serve you inasal goodness 24/7! So, no problemo if you’re craving chicken inasal drenched in chicken oil for midnight snacks. For first-timers in Bacolod, you may want to try the chicken inasal at Nena’s Rose or Aida’s.
Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod is also near Gina’s Seafoods Restaurant, which serves some of the best inasal na anything in the province, be it inasal na Blue Marlin or inasal na scallops. Its sinigang is top tier, too, and you can choose from any on the list of catch-of-the-day.
Another popular restaurant near Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod is Imay’s, which is also well-loved for its seafood dishes. The ones that stood out for the SPOT.ph team, however, are the surprisingly decadent porbidang kangkong (who would’ve thought that the humble kangkong could taste so sinful?) and the unexpected hit dessert during our trip, black sambo, a flan-like medley of gelatin, cream, and Hershey’s chocolate syrup—the Bacolodnon are super particular about the brand, hence the necessary name-dropping.
Another favorite among locals in the area is Quan’s, famous for its breakfast fare, such as its beef tapa, bangus pinamalhan, and chorizo, which come in two varieties: negrense and chorizo bacoleño. Make sure to order Quan’s über-decadent hot tsokolate which is perfect with its kakanin, our favorites were the puto manapla, cuchinta, and suman sa latik.
These are only some of the many food and beverage establishments that are but a few minutes away from Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod. If food crawling is a top priority when visiting this Negrense city, the hotel is a convenient accommodation option.
It’s worth mentioning, too, that the hotel has an excellent breakfast buffet spread, which will fill you up ahead of a day of sightseeing or even more eating. Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod’s Lobby Lounge is a delight, too, being ready to serve either dine-in, takeout, or room service 24/7. We recommend hot dark chocolate and Spanish bread if you’re hankering for snacks while chilling in your room.
We weren’t able to try the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, Arima, and poolside bar, but these are only more reasons to come back and book again.
