Game? Game!
(SPOT.ph) No matter how many times you turn the world upside down, one thing will remain the same: Filipinos love basketball. If you're a basketball head from the south of Metro Manila who's having a hard time looking for a court to shoot hoops, SM Southmall opened a new events hall inside the establishment—and it comes with its own indoor basketball court.

Check out the new basketball court at SM Southmall:
On October 11, SM Southmall in Las Piñas City opened their Events Hall, a 1,900-square-meter multipurpose function hall where different events can be held, such as concerts, musicals, conventions, and sporting events like basketball, volleyball, badminton, wrestling, and boxing.
SM Southmall's Events Hall can accommodate up to 1,800 to 2,000 people for concerts and live events, but for sporting events, it can only fit 1,000 people. It's a modestly sized events space perfect for a smaller crowd.
For the athletic people interested in the specifics of the event place's basketball court, the SM Southmall Events Hall has a built-in, indoor FIBA-sized basketball court, permanent bleachers, dugouts, and function rooms.
Rates for SM Southmall Events Hall
- Sports Events: P5,000/hour
- Events Hall: P275,000/day
Do take note of the conditions of renting out SM Southmall Events Hall. For sports events, renting the court requires a minimum of two hours, which means you pay at least P10,000 for two hours on the court.
Reservations can be made by reaching out to Richard Torres through his email, richard.torres@smsupermalls.com. Inquiries will be accommodated from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

As for the seating plan, Standing Section is the only section available based on the upcoming concert. The tickets for the Standing Section cost P400 per person—if this is anything to go by for upcoming concerts and events, tickets for events held at this specific venue are reasonably priced.
