(SPOT.ph) There are far better ways to celebrate International Women's Day than men wearing heels. Across Metro Manila, women are celebrated with simple yet meaningful things such as free rides going to the office and then back home, and even free entrances to museums. In this list, we enumerate the free stuff women are entitled to enjoy during International Women's Month.

Free train rides via MRT-3
The Department of Transportation is giving free train rides to women riding the MTR-3 line on Women's Day. The free ride is given on March 8 only, during these two timeslots: 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Free train rides via LRT-2
The Light Trail Transit (LRT 2) celebrates International Women's Day with free LRT-2 rides for its female passengers. The free ride is scheduled for March 8, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Free bus rides at PITX
The Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) celebrates International Women's Month with free bus rides for female passengers using the PITX - Mall of Asia - Cubao route and vice versa. The schedule for the free bus rides is on March 6, 13, and 20, from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Free visits to Intramuros sites
The Intramuros Administration is partaking in celebrating International Women's Day with free entrances for women and girls to all Intramuros sites, namely Fort Santiago, Baluarte de San Diego, and Casa Manila Museum. The free entrance to these Intramuros spots is only offered on March 8.
Free drink upgrade at YiFang
