(SPOT.ph) We won't blame you if the recently concluded Taylor Swift: The Era's Tour leg in Singapore has got you itching for a chance to see the Lion City. In case you're planning on visiting anytime soon, consider making a trip to visit Madame Tussauds Singapore on Sentosa Island for a chance to see Pia Wurtzbach—well, not exactly Wurtzbach herself, but a really close replica, as the wax museum just welcomed the beauty queen's wax figure last Saturday, March 23.

Pia Wurtzbach's Wax Figure at Madame Tussauds Singapore
Pia Wurtzbach unveiled her Madame Tussauds wax figure at a Madame Tussauds Singapore in Sentosa Island over the weekend.
Previously displayed in Madame Tussauds Hong Kong since its debut in 2019, "Pia 2," as Wurtzbach fondly calls her doppelganger, is now available for viewing in the Lion City until September 1.
Fans in Singapore and all over can now marvel at the beauty queen-slash-actress' life-size figure, complete with its own Michael Cinco Swarovski-embellished royal blue ball gown, a replica of Wurtzbach's blue gown, which she used to crown her successor in 2016. Don't think the dress is just some regular ol' copy. The Madame Tussauds team commissioned Michael Cinco himself to recreate the gown for Pia 2.
But despite the pomp and glamour of her replica's ball look, Wurtzbach told SPOT.ph in an interview that her favorite part about her wax figure is the pose. While all Madame Tussauds figures are meant to be touched and interacted with, Wurtzbach's figure allows fans an opportunity for their own crowning moment when they stand underneath the figure's pose.
"I love how it's so interactive and when you come near, di ka mahihiyang to touch, and you can touch her, and pose underneath and feel like you're being crowned Miss Universe. There's also a certain spot in front of her where you catch her eye line looking directly at you; it gives me goosebumps everytime," says Wurtzbach.
Pia Wurtzbach was the first Filipino celebrity to have her own wax figure at the museum, but she definitely was not the last. Along with Wurtzbach, other celebrities such as Manny Pacquiao and Catriona Gray also have their own wax doppelgangers on display.
Joining them late this year is Anne Curtis, who, back in December, was announced to be the next Filipino celebrity to be immortalized in wax.
When asked about who she thinks should be the next Filipino celebrity to have a wax figure, Wurtzbach, without missing a beat, puts her bets on acclaimed Filipino singer Lea Salonga, saying, " I think she's iconic and it's about time that we had her (wax figure). " Fingers crossed that we get more Pinoy representation in the Madame Tussauds lineup!
Pia Wurtzbach's wax figure will be at Madame Tussauds Singapore until September 1. Madame Tussauds Singapore is at 40 Imbiah Road, Sentosa, Singapore . Book a ticket to Madame Tussauds Singapore through Klook. For more information, visit Madame Tussauds Singapore's website.
