(SPOT.ph) It's time to start planning your dream vacation. And the 35th Philippine Travel Mart at the SMX Convention Center this September should be a good place to start.
Gone are the days when every new travel adventure made your wallet cry. The Philippine Travel Mart, a.k.a. the country's longest-running travel fair, is the best place to make the most of your limited vacation days and tight budget, what with its slew of deals and steals on all things travel.
Here's what you should expect when the Philippine Travel Mart (PTM) kicks off next month.

Happening from September 6 to 8, the Philippine Travel Mart is a three-day fair that brings together over 300 tour operators, tourism offices, travel agencies, airlines, hotels, and resorts to help you plan the vacation of your dreams without breaking the bank.
Expect bang-for-your-buck tour packages and all-inclusive deals for hotels and resorts as the Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA)—the folks behind the PTM—collaborates with various key players in the Philippine travel and hospitality space. These are Philippine Airlines, Megaworld Hotels, Robinsons Hotels and Resorts, Ayala Land, Marriott, just to name a few. But if you've got your mind set on exploring the sights and sounds of faraway lands, the PTM also features exhibitors providing discounted tour packages to popular destinations in Asia, the US, Europe, and Australia.
"The 2024 Philippine Travel Mart offers a one-stop-shop for travel enthusiasts to explore new destinations, plan their trips, and avail of exclusive discounts," says Maria Lourdes Japson, PHILTOA's 1st Vice-President.
The PTM is not just about discounts and sales, however. It's also raising awareness on popular and emerging destinations in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
"For three days," says PHILTOA's Treasurer, Dina May Flores, "SMX will be the venue for all exhibitors to showcase the best of what the Philippines can offer any traveler."
Regional displays, performances, and grand pavilions will put the different regions of the Philippines in the spotlight. The PTM partnered with the regional Department of Tourism offices to help travelers discover new corners of the country. If you're dropping by the PTM, we suggest you wisit the various regional booths during the fair for a quick mini-tour of the Philippines, for food tastings and cultural performances. Who knows, you might end up with a whole new travel list after.
Getting Tickets to the Philippine Travel Mart 2024
Register on the Philippine Travel Mart website to secure your slots. Tickets will be available for preselling starting next week.

- Regular Price/On-site Price: P100
