(SPOT.ph) Everyone needs to explore Intramuros at least once. Manila's Walled City is a crowd-favorite spot for cultural and heritage tours, especially if you want to learn about pre-war Manila. But, if you think you've seen all Intramuros has to offer, you might want to think again.
This long weekend, Intramuros is upping the ante by having a slew of activities designed to make you see it in a new light. From dark, Halloween-themed explorations to new ways to experience the history of the area, here are fun new activities to try in Intramuros this holiday weekend.

Intramuros Investigation III
Event Date: October 28 and 30
Where to register: Reserve your slots through Mystery Manila or Bambike Ecotours' social media pages and website.
Due to popular demand, Mystery Manila and Bambike Ecotours are extending their limited-time-only mystery bike tour: Intramuros Investigation III. This activity lets you take on the role of a paranormal detective while exploring the Walled City of Intramuros. Choose between two mysteries to solve—Lost Lady’s Letter or Possessed Priest’s Pendant—and go sleuthing around Intramuros’ different landmarks aboard your bamboo bicycle (or tricycle if you don’t know how to ride a bike). This event will run every hour from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on October 28 and 30.
Note that these games are designed for groups of five, so if your gang is composed of more than five people, you might have to play the game in batches or separate groups. Tickets are at P899 per head per mystery. If that price is too steep for your budget, don’t worry: students get a 50% discount and a special promo for groups of five where you can play for only P3,599. Rizal's Footprints in Intramuros

Many important figures in history have visited the streets of Intramuros. One of the most famous people who has roamed the walls of Intramuros is our National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. In a special one-day-only tour, 20 guests will go on a journey that will take them through historic locations in Intramuros that celebrate Dr. Rizal’s contributions and commemorate his enduring impact on the Philippines. Intramuros Filipiniana Night

While the rest of the Metro is out in creepy, ghoulish threads, why not show some Pinoy love by wearing Filipiniana in Intramuros? This Halloween, guests wearing their best Filipiniana garb can get their entrance fees waived at some of Intramuros' historical spots. Dust off your baro't saya, barong tagalog, and other proudly Pinoy garments and head to Intramuros to explore Baluarte de San Diego, Casa Manila, and Fort Santiago without any fees for one day.

Intramuros is launching a new set of tours designed for those who don't want to explore the area on foot. Intramuros Tranventures roams around key spots in the Walled City, such as Fort Santiago, Casa Manila, San Agustin Church, Puerta del Parian, and even the Pasig River Esplanade aboard Tranvia similar to the ones that roamed the streets of Manila in the early 20th Century.
Catch the inaugural run of Intramuros Tranventures this October 31 at 4 p.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 7 p.m. Hurry and reserve your slots. Each tour can only accommodate 20 guests at a time.
