Weekend Spot: Enjoy Some Quiet Time at This Quaint Resort in Quezon

(SPOT.ph) With the lifting of most restrictions as well as the rush of excitement to travel again, people are now heading out of town and hitting the beach. There are the most popular ones like the White Beach on Boracay Island, Lio Beach in El Nido, and Sabangan Beach in Puerto Galera.  But if you're looking for a more private space, you can book an Airbnb in a small coastal town called Villa Ilaya in Atimonan, Quezon. Rates for this property start at P18,000.

You can book the entire place, which can fit up to 16 people in its 11 bedrooms with either two beds or two mattresses each. There are no other resorts nearby so guests are guaranteed some peace and quiet if they want to lounge around the beach, take a nap in one of the hammocks under the coconut trees, or take a dip in the resort's swimming pool. There's also a mini-pier where you can catch some crabs, boats that are available for guests, and stand-up paddleboards that you can use.

As of writing, roads leading to the property are still under construction, so guests are transported to the Airbnb through a 15-minute boat ride.
