(SPOT.ph) Some of the country's biggest art events passed by in the flurry of the last six months or so: Alt Philippines in December 2021, Art Fair Philippines in March, and Art in the Park in April. But if you can't get enough, another three-day art festival is happening from July 29 to 31 at Fairmont Makati along Makati Avenue. Modern and Contemporary Art Festival, as it is called, is set to showcase both revered masters and up-and-coming artists in the Philippine contemporary art scene.

"We envision [the] Modern and Contemporary Art Festival (MoCAF) as a momentous culmination of modern and contemporary artists, galleries, and collectors, bridging together opportunities in these different art sectors to grow and appreciate one another’s endeavors. Through MoCAF, we aim to strengthen the identity of Filipino modern and contemporary art and focus on the Philippines as a global artistic and cultural center that will be recognized all throughout Southeast Asia," shared Fundacion Sansó director Ricky Francisco, who's also curating the solo artist presentations and group exhibitions for the fair.
