(SPOT.ph) The Asian premiere of Hamilton is still months away, but Hamilfans in the Philippines are all ready to "see our glory." GMG Productions on March 28 confirmed that the international tour of Lin-Manuel Miranda's hit musical is coming to Manila. Show dates are from September 17 to November 26, while venue is The Theater at Solaire in Parañaque City. Hamilton ticket prices range from P2,645 to P8,993.

Hamilton (2020) on Disney Plus
Hamilfans were very much excited when a live stage recording of Hamilton dropped on Disney+ on July 3, 2020. The proshot presented was the 2015 Broadway musical version, which starred the original principal cast, namely Lin-Manuel Miranda, Leslie Odom Jr. as Aaron Burr, Phillipa Soo as Eliza Hamilton, Renée Elise Goldsberry as Angelica Schuyler, and Christopher Jackson as George Washington. Other cast members include Jonathan Groff, Daveed Diggs, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Okieriete Onaodowan, and Anthony Ramos. The Disney+ release is just in time for the United States' celebration of Independence Day on July 4 of that year.
Hamilton is streaming on Disney+.
Hamilton: The Revolution (2016) by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Jeremy McCarter (P2,850)
Laid out like an important tome with its hardcover, colored print, and more than 200 pages, Hamilton: The Revolution is almost the Bible of the hit musical. It is written by Lin-Manuel Miranda alongside cultural critic Jeremy McCarter, who's been involved with the project since day one. The book traces the musical's development, including footnotes that let us look into Miranda's creative process as well as the full text of the whole musical.

The inspiration for Lin-Manuel Miranda's musical, the biography Alexander Hamilton received praises and positive reviews when it came out. It was nominated for the National Book Critics Circle Award in biography, won the George Washington Book Prize—a literary prize for early American history, and was part of The New York Times Best Seller list for three months.

Hamilton's America (2016) on PBS
Produced by PBS under their Great Performances program, Hamilton's America is a documentary that combines history, theater, and everything in between. It contextualizes the milieu of Alexander Hamilton vis-a-vis Lin-Manuel Miranda's artistry in making the show a timeless masterpiece. Hamilton's America premiered on October 21, 2016, and you can watch a few clips through the PBS website.
