From scary movies to romantic boys' love series to, of course, visiting to our Southeast Asian neighbor, Thai culture has slowly but surely taken over our hearts. And if we're talking about a Thai invasion, there's no denying the hold their cuisine has on our tummies. Yup, from the pancit-like pad thai to the spicy-sour tom yum soup, Thai food is making its way to the top of Filipinos' favorite flavor profiles. If you're in it to try a different take on the vibrant cuisine, then here's a spot you'll want to put on your list: Greyhound Café's latest branch at Rockwell's Edades Tower. The well-known Thai resto is serving up new dishes, and it's only at their newest branch that you can get a taste.

Check out Greyhound Cafe's latest spot in Rockwell, Makati:
Greyhound Café's Makati outpost is their fourth branch in the Metro. Sporting a chic modern industrialist look, the new Rockwell spot is a beaut. Sticking to its non-traditional take on what a Thai restaurant looks like, it does away with the usual tropical and rustic vibe of your usual Thai haunts and goes for a more minimalist interior, a welcome sentiment you can feel even on their menu.
It's not just the looks that have changed in this new Greyhound outpost. The Rockwell Makati branch also features two branch-exclusive menus highlighting Greyhound Café's dedication to serving Thai food with a twist. Each menu will be available late-night and early in the morning, so you can pop by whether you're a night owl or an early bird.
Early birds will have a riot with the first special menu featuring breakfast with a twist at this branch. Several special dishes which will be available at the Rockwell branch from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. This menu features eats such as Chicken in Brown Sauce with Rice (P599), Thai-styled BBQ Pork (P420), Khao Tom Hang (P399) or rice porridge with fried minced pork, a fried duck egg, and pork cracklings, Bangkok Street Fried Rice (P499) which is a medley of seafood, bacon, and sausage sauteed together to form an umami-rich street food delicacy, and GHC Chicken Rice (P539), among others. Just take a look at the hearty meals below; spot the sunny side up eggs cooked Southeast Asian style (you know that crispy edging has our hearts).
Not too keen on waking up early? Don't worry, night owls. Greyhound's Makati branch also has something for you. Party at Night is the second branch-exclusive menu available. Ready to be served from 6 p.m. until 12 a.m., Party at Night features food items that are perfect for dinner or late-night snacks. Catch eats like the DIY Crab Sandwich (P995), Moo Rong Hai, a.k.a. charcoal grilled marinated pork belly with a Thai sauce glaze and roasted rice (P580), Sizzling Sour Pork (P599), Hot and Spicy Beef and Pork Balls (P490), Charcoal Grilled Meatballs Sticks (P799) which features skewered grilled beef, pork, shrimp and fish, and Thai Pandan Chicken (P580), among other nibbles, tipples, and chow.
Greyhound Café is brought to us by Viva Foods—the same folks who brought us favorites such as Boteyju, Paper Moon, Yogorino, Wingzone, Ramen House, and Pepi Cubano. It first opened in the Philippines last February 2022 with a branch in SM Aura Premier.
