Mamou, K Pop Town, Tsokolateria + More: Check Out the Food Spots in the New Gateway 2 Mall

(SPOT.ph) Quezon City folks, read up! You might have noticed a ton of board-ups and new stores popping up in and around Araneta City. Well, ICYDK, there's going to be a new Gateway Mall in the neighborhood—and with that comes a lot of new stores and (more importantly) a ton of eats. There's no doubt food lovers would go gaga over the wide selection of restos and food stalls coming up—which range from fast-food favorites to sit-down restaurants with international fare and local delicacies and more. Here's everything we know about the new restaurants in the upcoming Gateway Mall 2.

Here's what we know about the new restaurants in Gateway Mall's expansion:

Imagine strolling through a maze of gastronomic wonders, from crispy chicken wings to cheesy pizzas to mouth-watering desserts bound to make you swoon. Gateway Mall 2 will be home to over 50 dining outlets—including the Metro's largest Mary Grace outlet—making it what we predict to be the newest food lover's paradise in the Metro. 

Yup, you can journey through the flavors of the world through the different food options available at the new mall. Craving Japanese? Italian? American? You can get your fill of international flavors here through the different restaurants like a mano, Mamou, Grace Park, Ramen Nagi, Nono's, Dooki Korean, Shake Shack, Tsokolateria, and many more. 

But aside from individual restaurants, you can also expect food hall concepts like a K Pop Town and Cafe where fans of the Korean wave can live out their hallyu fantasies and sate their K-food hankerings.

But those looking for more homey flavors can also look forward to the Palenque—a Filipino-themed food arena with the best-of-the-best in local food heritage.  Here diners can do a “food crawl” through a selection of signature cuisine native and unique to every province or region in the Philippines and prepared by celebrated chefs in their own inimitable way. Check out Bale Dutung of Chef Claude Tayag, Al Puruganan’s Ilocos cuisine, Chef Tatung’s Cebu offerings and delicacies, Palm Grill from Zamboanga, Sea Salt Davao Grill, and Chinoy's Chicken Fandian. You can also expect to find all sorts of Bacolod delicacies, and offerings like Diwal.

These are just some of the upcoming restaurants in Gateway Mall 2. TBH, we can't wait to have all these food concepts are arms reach in the North. Although no official opening date for Gateway Mall 2 has been announced, word around the Internet pegs it to open sometime this year. Guess we'll have to wait and see for updates and new openings in the area from time to time.
