The famous Korean brand is flying to the North!
(SPOT.ph) Koreanophiles of the North, read up as we've got egg-citing news. Not even a month after we first found out that Korean fried chicken joint, bb.q Chicken, is opening their first branch down South, the plot chickens as the K-drama famous restaurant just announced a new venture. bb.q Chicken is clucking its way to Robinsons Magnolia. That's right, no need to head to BGC. We're getting our own bb.q Chicken right in the heart of Quezon City.

Here's what we know about bb.q Chicken's Quezon City outpost:
All chicken puns aside (we had to), both bb.q Chicken and Robinsons Magnolia teased the upcoming North branch of the chain on their social media pages. According to a post by Robinsons Magnolia, bb.q Chicken is set to open on the third floor of the New Manila mall. Their post reads, "BB.Q Chicken is spreading its wings to #RobinsonsMagnolia! Get ready for mouthwatering flavors and a fantastic dining experience coming soon at #RobinsonsMagnolia, Level 3. Stay tuned for updates and prepare your taste buds for a sizzling adventure!"
Although no opening date has been announced, we're keeping our eyes peeled for anything chicken-related coming up. We're also hoping that all the signature sauces, flavors, and menu items from the OG BGC branch will make their way to QC. NGL, we can't wait to sink our teeth into crispy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside chicken doused in Soy Garlic or Honey Garlic sauce. Pair that with an ice-cold beer, some kimchi, or tteokbokki, and you've got yourself your very own main K-drama character moment right there.
ICYDK, bb.q Chicken means "best of the best quality" chicken. Their signature Korean fried chickens are known for their crunchy fried chicken skin on the outside, with a juicy and tender inside. The brand even made several appearances in hit K-dramas like Crash Landing on You and Goblin.
