Here's what you need to know about the upcoming Negros Trade Fair:
The Negros Trade Fair is returning this year for its 37th Edition. This year, the theme is "Amuma," a Hiligaynon word meaning "to foster, to nurture, to take care of." Christina Gaston, the Chairperson of ANP and part of the Negros Trade Fair organizing committee explains, "It's Ilonggo hospitality to go the extra mile for our family, friends, and guests. We wanted to bring these characteristics to the fair."
The 37th Negros Trade Fair will commence on September 26 until October 1—yes, for one whole week, including the month-end payday *wink!* And like the previous Negros Trade Fairs, it will also be at Glorietta Activity Center.
The Bacolod food at Negros Trade Fair
A few of the food concessionaires that will be part of the upcoming Negros Trade Fair are FreshStart Organics, Inc. for their piaya (yes, they will have a piaya station!); El Ideal, who's known for their Guapple Pie; Ereñeta Manaloto Chorizo de Bacolod, popular for their chorizo; Felicia's Pastry Shop, loved their fluffy ensaymadas; Virgies Homemade Products, who bakes up all sorts of biscuits and napoleones; Clara's Food Products, best known for their melt-in-the-mouth goat's milk barquillos; and Inasalan sa Dalan, whose chicken inasal is truly flavorful stuff.
That's far from all: other well-loved food stalls you can find at the event are Mercanti Veneziani Trading, Quan, Kusina Jamora, Elsibeth Corporation, Mumshi, Sir & Ma'am Restaurant, Casa Carmela, Felicia's Pastry Shop, MVS & Sugarlandia, Ading's Gourmet Tuyo Margies Cakes and Pastries, SATOCA, Imay's MRY, T-FLavors, and 21 Bar Restaurant.
The committee is still prepping the final lineup for the 37th Negros Trade Fair. So do keep your fingers and toes crossed that more proudly-Negrense brands will also be at the event.
