Heads Up: A New Vikings Group Restaurant Is Opening in Tagaytay
It's going to be somewhere familiar.
(SPOT.ph) Institutions come and go, but from their ashes can rise a new favorite. The past years have seen us say goodbye to many of our go-to restaurants. Case in point, the scenic hotspot Tagaytay has seen its fair share of restaurant closures and openings in the recent past, but hold on to your seats because those don't seem to be the end of it. Heads up, food lovers. The Tagaytay restaurant scene is shaking up again as we just got word that Rosario by Vikings is finally opening its doors in a familiar location pretty soon!

Here's what we know about this new Tagaytay restaurant, Rosario by Vikings:
As seen on a post on their newly minted Facebook page, Rosario by Vikings is opening this August. "Mark your calendars! Rosario, the newest addition to the Vikings Group, is bringing the taste of home to Tagaytay. Join us for a delightful journey through the rich flavors of Filipino cuisine. Opening [on] August!" the post reads.
Filipino chef “Boom” Jota will helm Rosario and will bring the "best of the Philippines' culinary heritage to Tagaytay." A statement from the Vikings Group teases the culinary specialties we can expect from the upcoming Tagaytay restaurant as "dishes that have the familiar and warm taste of home, bringing to mind memories of fond family gatherings and hearty meals shared with friends. It will fill you with the nostalgia of being brought to the same scenic spot when you were young while surprising you with dishes you adored in your childhood. It’s Filipino comfort food everyone knows and loves, made special—as if cooked by your very own lola."
In keeping with the traditions of home-cooked meals, SPOT.ph has been told that Rosario by Vikings' food will be served family style, unlike their famed buffet-style offerings at Vikings and NIU by Vikings.
But aside from filling up on Filipino eats, diners can also chill out and hang at this new spot as it sports a killer view of the Taal Lake and Volcano, along with a spacious garden area perfect for family gatherings and building new memories in a familiar place.
Vikings Group is famously known for their buffet-style concepts, Vikings, and NIU by Vikings. Apart from serving up unlimited portions, they also have à la carte dining concepts such as the Fujian-Singaporean Michelin-starred franchise of Putien, and European dining, Bom Gosto.
