Try These Chewy Chocolate Crinkles by Former ADB Chef

(SPOT.ph) When talking about the Asian Development Bank's notoriously craveworthy crinkles, it's only apt to quote the Theodore Roosevelt, "Nothing worth having comes easy." One simply does not go to ADB and buy the fudgy, crinkles that are sold exclusively in its cafeteria. To have access to these treats, you either need to be an employee, have an appointment at the bank, or at least know someone of such privilege who can buy for you.
But, hey, if there's a will, there's a way—and, nope, we're not talking about infiltrating ADB and getting your hands on their crown jewels. It's easier if you just buy via Crumbs & Grubs.

Check out this shop's crinkles by ADB's Former Executive Chef:
Crumbs & Grubs sells what they call "ADB Crinkles" that you can order online through their website. The baked-goods shop partnered with Chef Chris Leaning, the former Executive Chef of ADB who refers to himself by his first name, and developed the original recipe for the ADB Crinkles. In an exchange with SPOT.ph, Crumbs & Grubs owner Jeanne M. says Chef Chris uses the same recipe for the classic crinkles that will be sold through the shop.
They have the Original Chocolate Crinkles (P500/a dozen 30-gram pieces) and Large Chocolate Crinkles (P650/a dozen 50-gram pieces) if you want to stick to the classic versions. They also have flavored versions such as Coffee (P550/a dozen 30-gram pieces), Salted Caramel (P550/half dozen 45-gram pieces), and Nutella & Almond (P550/half dozen 45-gram pieces), but if you want variety, go for the Assorted (P1,100/two dozen) which has a little bit of everything.
Crumbs & Grubs is selling the crinkles in limited boxes and they're only baked in big batches once a month. As of publishing, the latest batch is available for preorders on their website until March 15, available for dispatch by March 22. The next batch of crinkles will be available sometime in April.
