Uniqlo Coffee MOA Exclusives: Gelato, Cheesecake + More

(SPOT.ph) Uniqlo is back in MOA—and this time they're bringing new and exclusive café items to their original branch in the Philippines. The Japanese lifewear brand first opened their doors in our country at this very Pasay mall back in 2012, so it's only fitting that they're doing something new to mark the rebirth. We're talking treats you'll want to try when you visit their gorgeous new shop, which yup, has an equally gorgeous café.

Uniqlo reopens MOA branch with Uniqlo Coffee exclusives

The MOA branch has moved into a massive new space at the main mall's atrium, expanding to two whole storeys starting at the second floor. The café is at the third floor of the mall, right by the shop's entrances. 

In the same vein as their minimalist nook in Glorietta, this café sports soft lighting, wood accents, and clean white walls. While there are two rows of cushioned seats inside the store, there are more comfortable tables and chairs set up outside of the shop overlooking the mall's main hall. You can get your tried-and-tested coffee cups here, or, even better, give their store exclusives a go. After all, you'll need a pick-me-up during your shopping session.

Uniqlo Coffee MOA Exclusive Drinks: White Peach Fruit Tea (P100) and Passion Fruit Tea (P100)

If you're looking for a refreshing cuppa, try the White Peach Fruit Tea or the Passion Fruit Tea, both priced at P100. We got to try the former and it proved to be a pretty strong brew. You get a solid-tasting black tea base with a hefty dose of sweet fruit flavor from the white peach, and with the ice to neutralize the flavors, it's a sure quencher. 

Uniqlo Coffee MOA Exclusive Food Items: Gelato, Cheesecake

Over on the snack-side of things, the MOA branch is serving up treats for your sweet tooth. There's the New York Cheesecake and Matcha Cheesecake, at P90 each, and even Cereal Cookies (P100). We love that the cheesecakes come in cute oblong shapes that make it easier to bring around. 

Now if you need something to help you keep cool in our tropical heat, Uniqlo MOA has three exclusive ice cream flavors to try: Cereal Milk Gelato, Tablea Lava Cake Gelato, and the Hojicha Gelato, all priced at P160 for a cup. 

Staying true to the origins of the brand, we gave the Hojicha a taste. Hojicha is a popular take on green tea in Japan with a bit of an edge due to the fact that its been roasted, and in Uniqlo's gelato take, the deep but subtle flavors truly shine. The ice cream has a thick and creamy texture, with matches well with the soft green tea taste. It may seem like a tiny cup at first glance, but every spoonful was surprisingly full of weight and flavor. 

Uniqlo Coffee first opened in the Philippines in 2023 at their flagship store in Glorietta, Makati. They've had the concept since 2021 when they first started serving cups of joe at their global flagship in Ginza. And now, you can give their new exclusives a try at the reopened MOA branch.
