(SPOT.ph) Filipinos love food. So it's no surprise the Philippines is home to all kinds of gastronomic delights—one-of-a-kind, distinctly Filipino food products included. At the upcoming DTI-Bagong Pilipinas National Food Fair, you'll be able to dive into the wonderful world of these local eats—think local coffee beans, carabao and cassava snacks, coconut-based condiments, and more!

What to expect at the DTI-Bagong Pilipinas National Food Fair 2024
The upcoming five-day event happens to be the 10th edition of the DTI-Bagong Pilipinas National Food Fair, and takes place from July 3 to 7 at the at Megatrade Halls 1 to 3 on the 5th floor of SM Megamall. Consider this your chance to discover old and new local treats bound to be your next obsession, and that you'd be hard-pressed to find anywhere else.
You'll find small homegrown brands, government agencies, and more showcasing their products at the event. Just some of the items not to miss are Amazing Livelihood's crisp kangkong chips; Azel Bren's chili-infused, jarred provisions (think Chili Hibe and Chili Strawberry preserves); Café Amadeo's roasted coffee blends; Capa's addictive bucheron; Garcia's Harvest's black rice and grain blends; Green Life's coconut butter and other coconut byproducts; Lola Tina's pili tarts; Sol's coffee and chocolate liqueurs; and Ybanag's carabao chicharon and other snacks, just to name a few. Fresh produce and frozen items will also be available.
The DTI-Bagong Pilipinas National Food Fair is organized by the DTI Bureau of Market Development, Promotions, and One Town, One Product (a.k.a. BMDPO) in collaboration with the DTI Regional and Provincial Offices.
