(SPOT.ph) The rumors are true: Secret Menu is back for its second run. And best believe, it's bigger, more daring, and TBH, harder to resist.
After the first run with The Grid, we’ve upped the ante, teaming up with 19 restaurants, bakeries, and cafés—all situated within the buzzy Makati City—to create dishes and drinks that you won't find on their regular menu. Not to be a tease (okay, totally being a tease), but you can expect a chili-honey combo in Jabroni's new pizza; a new nutty coffee drink from Yardstick; steak paired with a light yet umami-packed noodles from Carmelo's Steakhouse; and a lip-puckering cheesecake from Melc Patisserie, just to name a few. Four out of the 19 participating places, to be exact.
From March 29 to April 29, you can get your hands on these ultra-exclusive Secret Menu creations—but only if you flash your UnionBank credit card. No card means you know the secret, but you don’t get to taste. Consider this your sign to apply for a UnionBank credit card, because the only thing worse than being hungry is being hit with a serious case of FOMO.

A guide to dishes and drinks exclusive to the Secret Menu
Alma: Huevos Rotos, Duck Foie Gras with Caramelized Apple, and Braised Pig’s Trotters Terrine with Black Lentil Salad
Alma proves that “less is more” isn’t just a life mantra; it’s a kitchen philosophy that Chef Luis Martinez lives by. His Secret Menu dishes (yes, plural) are all simple, straightforward, uncomplicated, with no frills and no fuss—and yet, unforgettable.
Take the Huevos Rotos (P450)—literally “broken egg”—a deconstructed dish with a runny egg you'll need to "break" and then mix with the chunky potatoes, clean-tasting tuna tartare, and caviar. Then there’s the Duck Foie Gras with Caramelized Apple (P980), where buttery, melt-in-your-mouth foie gras meets the sweetness of caramelized apples; it's best eaten with bread to soak up all that glorious fat and syrup. Then there's the daring Braised Pig’s Trotters Terrine with Black Lentil Salad (P480), offering a textural gelatinous contrast to the lentils.
Alma is at 2/F Aspect Apartments, 5887 Fermina, corner Enriquez, Makati City.
Benny's Place: Oxtail Menudo Sulipena
Homegrown favorite Benny’s Place prides itself in comfort Filipino food, so naturally, their Secret Menu dish is a love letter to anyone who swears by a good Filipino tomato-based stew. Enter the Oxtail Menudo Sulipena (P680), featuring tender oxtail, smoky Spanish sausages, creamy chickpeas, and sweet bell peppers, all simmered low and slow in an umami-packed tomato sauce. This is the kind of homey, stick-to-your-ribs dish that calls for a mountain of rice to soak up all the flavor.
Benny's Place is at GF, The Marketplace, Rustan’s Department Store, Makati City.
Bon Bakery: Watermelon Shake
You can always go to Bon Bakery for your coffee and pastry fix, but during The Secret Menu, they’re serving up something refreshingly unexpected: a Watermelon Shake (P100). As simple as it sounds, this isn’t just another fruit smoothie. Bon Bakery blends it to perfection, keeping it smooth and velvety rather than icy. It’s topped with fresh watermelon bits for an extra burst of sweetness and texture. A summer essential, no doubt.
Bon Bakery is at Villar corner San Agustin Street, Dowell Somerset Tower Residences, Makati City.
Brunch Bureau: Cheesy Korean Chicken Chop
Brunch Bureau is one of those hidden gems with bang-for-your-buck meals—filling, tasty, and affordable is a combination you cannot argue with. Case in point: the Cheesy Korean Chicken Chop (P490) is their Korean-style chicken dish featuring a crunchy soy-glazed chicken thigh fillet coated with melted cheese and gochujang—think of it like chicken parmigiana meets Korean cheese buldak, on steroids. This rests on top of SPAM and kimchi fried rice to balance all the savory with something tangy and spicy.
The participating Brunch Bureau branch is at 109 Don Carlos Palanca, Legazpi Village, Makati.
Carmelo's Steakhouse: Wafu Pasta with Seared Wagyu
Carmelo's Steakhouse's Secret Menu entry is the Wafu Pasta with Seared Wagyu (P5,000), a Japanese-inspired pasta dish that relies on umami (i.e. miso) and steak fat that lightly coats the noodles, but with a bit of a kick as there's also chilies in the mix, satisfying crunch from the greens, and then decorated with vibrant edible flowers. This is a set meal served with the restaurant's soup of the day and La Vie en Rose, a gin-based cocktail with notes of rose and lychee.
Carmelo's Steakhouse is at 2F, The Proscenium Retail Row, The Proscenium Residences, Rockwell Center, Estrella, Makati.
George & Onnie's: Fiesta Lumpia
George & Onnie’s—aka Wildflour’s newest Filipino restaurant concept—will lure you in with every Filipino's weakness: lumpia. For Secret Menu, the restaurant introduces the Fiesta Lumpia (P420). Think of it as the dirty fries of the lumpia world: meaty rolls are topped with a rich cheese sauce, crunchy bacon, and spicy jalapeños. Just a warning: Pacing yourself won’t be easy because, let's be real, this plate of lumpia will be gone long before the main course even arrives.
The participating George & Onnie's branch is at GF, The Stratosphere, 136 Valero Street, Salcedo Village, Makati City, and LG, The Shops, Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati City.
Good Sh*t Coffee: Coco Mar-cream
Just in time for summer, Good Sh*t Coffee created a creamy, all-coconut caffeinated concoction with an ever-playful (and very on-brand) name: Coco Mar-cream (P200), a play-on-word on Coco Martin. Designed to spotlight coconut as a homegrown product, Coco Mar-cream's layers include an iced espresso crowned with airy whipped coconut foam, sweetened with coconut sugar, and finished with—you guessed it—a generous sprinkle of toasted coconut flakes.
Good Sh*t Coffee is at 5872 Enriquez, Poblacion, Makati.
Good Sh*t Craft: A Berry Special Love
Good Sh*t Craft is the speakeasy counterpart where you can find another Secret Menu drink: A Berry Special Love (P350), just as punny as Coco Mar-cream, and just as tropical too. This fizzy cocktail is made with craft soda water (in-house, at that!), Tanqueray gin, and a pink puree made of imported pink guava and strawberry.
Good Sh*t Craft is at 5872 Enriquez, Poblacion, Makati.
Jabroni's: The Diablo
Jabroni's created their hottest and spiciest pizza yet for Secret Menu with The Diablo (P660/12-inch and P1,390/18-inch round, and P710/12-inch square). It begins the typical pepperoni pizza route with red sauce, cheese, and peppery pepperonis—but from there, Jabroni's makes it no-holds-barred fiery with slices of jalapeños on top and a generous drizzle of their new spicy honey. (Co-founder Emilio Ocampo teases they might sell bottles of this in-house made condiment soon!).
The participating Jabroni's branch is at L1, Power Plant Mall, Rockwell Drive, Makati.
Le Feu Steakhouse: Caesar Steak Tartare and Sirloin Steak Sofrito
Caesar Steak Tartare (P1,250), Le Feu Steakhouse's Secret Menu dish, takes inspiration from a Caesar salad—but to be clear, this is not a salad. Instead of leafy greens, this dish has Wagyu tartare for its main protein, croutons encrusted with Parmesan, pickled onions with beetroot juice, and a Caesar dressing turned into a light sauce. You mix everything, scoop with your spoon, and place the mixture on top of the tortilla that, funnily enough, makes it look like a salad.
There's also the Sirloin Steak Sofrito (P4,900) that's just as visually deceiving because while it does look and taste like paella, it's not cooked like one. Instead, this dish features a perfectly seared WX5 sirloin steak from Ranger’s Valley, Australia, served over a bed of rice that’s glistening with oil—in other words, flavor.
Le Feu Steakhouse is at 2 San Lorenzo Drive, Makati City.
Mantra Indian Kitchen & Bar: Chicken Kali Mirch and Paneer Malai Tikka
We all have our favorites at Mantra Indian Kitchen & Bar, but if you're willing to add another dish to your go-tos, the Chicken Kali Mirch (P600) and Paneer Malai Tikka (P550) are great contenders. The Chicken Kali Mirch is an aromatic chicken dish with a rich, creamy, and peppery gravy you'll want to pour all over basmati or their addicting naan. As for Paneer Malai Tikka, this is a vegetarian option made with char-grilled cottage cheese coated in a creamy sauce.
The participating Mantra Indian Kitchen & Bar branch is at Grand Midori G-7, Bolanos, Legaspi Village, Makati.
Melc Patisserie: Calamansi Curd Cheesecake and Burnt Matcha Cheesecake
Melc Patisserie's two new Secret Menu cheesecakes have your sweet tooth covered. There's the Calamansi Curd Cheesecake (P300/slice) that uses their signature cheesecake with a Fromage Blanc that makes it light and creamy, all encased in a sweet and buttery shortbread crust. This is topped with zesty calamansi curd and then crowned with dots of Italian meringue to balance all the brightness.
On the richer end of the flavor spectrum is the Burnt Matcha Cheesecake (P300/slice). This dense cheesecake gets its deep, earthy notes from ceremonial-grade Yuri matcha, while the caramelized top and edges—typical and intentional with any Burnt Basque cheesecakes—add just the right amount of bittersweet contrast.
Melc Patisserie is at LG/F Ayala Triangle Gardens Tower 2, Makati City.
Nikkei: Black Karaage
No, Nikkei didn't accidentally burn chicken and then make it a Secret Menu dish. The Black Karaage (P480) is intentionally jet black in color thanks to the batter infused with activated charcoal before it's deep-fried, then laid on top of a bed of Tokyo Slaw and sprinkled with togarashi for a bit of heat. This is meant to be dipped in the Truffle Aioli, but the chicken is tasty enough by itself that you can opt out. This dish is available at the Rockwell branch of Nikkei, as well as Nikkei Nama in Legazpi Village.
Nikkei is at G/F One Rockwell East Tower, Makati City. Nikkei Nama is at Frabelle Business Center, 111 Rada Street, Legazpi Village, Makati City.
Nolita Joe's: The Beastie Mode Pizza
We all love a meaty pizza, but if you want something that's just as extra as a four-cheese pizza, Nolita Joe's takes the meaty factor and quadruples it with The Beastie Mode Pizza (P880/12-inch, P1,540/16-inch, P2,650/21-inch) for Secret Menu. When it comes to piling on the protein, this pizza is loaded with ham, sausage, pepperoni, and meatball bits in a bed of red sauce and cheese.
Nolita Joe's is at 5666 Don Pedro Street, Poblacion, Makati City.
Osteria M: Beef Wellington
Osteria M, also helmed by Chef Melissa Lim of Melc Patiserrie, applies her baking skills with the Beef Wellington (P1,300/half, P2,600/whole). This is a classic take on the steak dish, featuring tender beef wrapped in a flaky golden brown pastry, served with a stroganoff peppercorn sauce and velvety mashed potatoes. And in case you’re wondering, yes, it’s served whole and meant for sharing—but will you actually want to? That's another story.
Osteria M is at 7862 Makati Avenue corner Kalayaan Ave, Makati City.
Scratch: Umami Truffle Smashburger
Smashburgers were quite rare in the Philippines—until recently. Now, it's become a core offering in most burger joints, like Scratch in Poblacion. For Secret Menu, they're rolling out an Umami Truffle Smashburger (P490) that makes use of its signature smashed patty with those distinct crusty and lacy edges. It's made indulgent with a rich truffle umami sauce, gooey cheese, and a touch of sweet relish, all sandwiched in between soft buns.
Scratch is at 5666 Don Pedro Street, Poblacion, Makati City.
Spritz: "Sisig" Bruschetta and "Beer" Spritz
Spritz knows there’s nothing quite like the classic sisig-and-beer combo, but they’re here to give it an upgrade for Secret Menu. Enter the Sisig Bruschetta (P400): toasted slices of baguette with a generous spread of chicken liver pâté, topped with crunchy sisig, drizzle of aioli, and pickled grapes for a tangy, balancing twist.
And since an elevated sisig calls for an equally elevated drink, you'll want to order it with the "Beer" Spritz (P400). This may look like beer and drink like beer, but it’s actually a wine cocktail made with vodka, lemon-infused vermouth, prosecco, and a layer of alginate foam. Think of it as the perfect pairing—familiar but in a classier font.
Spritz is at G/F L'Ermitage Apartments Toledo corner L.P. Leviste Street, Bel-Air, Makati City.
The Counter at Ginza One: Tori Hiyashi Chukka and Ume Shandy Gaff
The Counter at Ginza One is the kind of spot that feels like a well-kept secret—an intimate, 10-seater omakase experience led by none other than Masahiko Kodama, the Michelin Bib Gourmand-awarded yakitori master behind Japan’s famed Yakitori Masakichi.
As expected, The Counter is all about chicken, and for Secret Menu, they're introducing the Tori Hiyashi Chukka (P550). This is a refreshing cold ramen dish featuring Chef Kodama’s chicken chashu and perfectly cooked soba, dressed in a savory and citrusy sauce that’s perfect for cutting through Manila’s heat. And just because summer months are relentless, you can add the Ume Shandy Gaff (P350), a crisp and fizzy combination of Japanese beer with plum sake.
The Counter at Ginza One is at G/F Eco Plaza Building, Chino Roces Ave Extension, Makati City.
Yardstick: #IYKYK Latte
Yardstick's #IYKYK Latte (P220) playfully captures the message of Secret Menu because, if anything, this is an if-you-know-you-know sitch. This new creamy latte, available hot or iced, has an espresso shot and oat milk, then is sweetened with hazelnut and vanilla syrup.
Sure, it does read as a sweet drink, but Yardstick works its magic to strike that balance so that the coffee still shines through, even with the added syrups. Think of it as their way of saying, “Yes, you can like your coffee sweet—and no, we’re not judging.”
The participating Yardstick branches are at the Universal LMS Building, 106 Esteban, Makati City; Powerplant Mall, Plaza Drive, Makati City; and L.P. Leviste Street, Makati City.
