Could 12/10 Be Making a Comeback?

We've got a guess as to where the modern izakaya might be reopening.

(SPOT.ph) It's been almost two years since 12/10 made the sad announcement that they'd be "packing up" for "hibernation"—which left many a food lover with strong and unfulfilled hankerings for their playful takes on Japanese classics. The restaurant did hold a pop-up a couple of months back, albeit with very limited dates and slots. Very soon, however, you could very well be getting your 12/10 fix with the full restaurant experience to boot, as the restaurant is hinting on social media about what might be their reopening!

12/10 could be reopening soon and here's where they might be located:

Yup, 12/10 published a photo post on Instagram on May 21, showing what looks to be the exterior of their new space that's currently in the works. The restaurant hasn't given exact details about the location or opening date—though from the looks of the building in the photo as well as buzz from their fans on social media, our guess is that they'll likely be located in Rockwell, Makati—specifically 8 Rockwell.

For now, we say give their Instagram page a follow—hopefully it won't be long before we can reunite with their signature Salmon Kushiyaki, Uni Toast, and other creative plates and killer cocktails.

12/10 was established in 2014 by Gab Bustos and Thea de Rivera, who are also behind another restaurant, The Girl + The Bull. Formerly located along Guijo street in Makati, they served hip and modern takes on izakaya fare and equally great drinks to match. We can't wait to see what they've got under their sleeves next.
