To add to the list of international accolades that some of our favorite spots in Manila have earned, five notable restaurants—including contemporary Filipino establishment Toyo Eatery, modern omakase spot Mecha Uma, tradition-meets-innovation restaurant Gallery by Chele, and more—recently made it to a coveted list on globally acclaimed website Opinionated About Dining.

A number of well-loved Manila dining spots made it to the 2022 list of top restos in Asia on Opinionated About Dining:
Opinionated About Dining (OAD) recently came out with their 2022 restaurant lists across different categories, mostly based on location and genre. Of these is the list of top restaurants in Asia, which include the likes of Mott 32 in Hong Kong, Jungsik in Seoul, and Odette in Singapore—as well as Manila's Toyo Eatery at #78, Mecha Uma at #100, and Gallery By Chele at #139.
On the same list you'll also find Locavore and M Dining + Bar named among their Highly Recommended restaurants in the continent. And over at their 2022 list of top casual restaurants in Asia you'll find Manam listed as #94. Consider this your sign to make those plans and book your tables at the said establishments, stat!
