Shake Shack Is Finally at Mall of Asia and Boy, Is It Huge

Take your family out for hearty bite. Heck, a midnight visit to a burger joint sounds like a great way to sober up after a night out on the streets. It's because of these reasons that the savory sandwich lives rent-free in the minds of Filipinos, so much so that we've even taken our own spin with the American classic. If you recall back in the good 'ol days—er, by that we mean 2019 pre-panini era—Shake Shack finally came to our shores and was met with burger-hungry individuals wanting a taste of their famous bites. Three years in, they've opened up in other parts of the Metro with their latest and biggest at SM Mall of Asia!

Shake Shack's fifth outpost in the country is not only one of the prettiest but also its largest. Shack MOA, as it's lovingly called, boasts a whopping 250 square meters of space with both indoor and al-fresco dining areas. The space gives a cozy yet inviting vibe with its warm and earthy interiors surrounded by green textured walls as well as a statement mural created by local artist Lee Caces.
Fans of their world-famous burgers would be glad to know that this particular branch opens as early as 10 a.m., making it the perfect place to unwind after your morning gym sesh (ahem, for #gains). Replenish your energy with the crowd-favorite Shack Burger (starts at P275), one of the Shack's bestselling items featuring a scrumptious beef patty that's always cooked to perfection. (This is a statement we don't take lightly, by the way).
Of course, hydration is key. Don't forget to take a sip of their Fifty/Fifty (starts at P135), a lemonande and iced-tea hybrid that refreshes with its sweet and slighty sour taste. If it's a more indulgent beverage you're aiming for, then the Black & White Classic Shake (P220) is one you shouldn't miss. The creamy hand-spun drink is reminiscent of KitKat and is not too sweet—it doesn't overwhelm your taste buds.
Lastly, make sure you leave some room for dessert! The branch exclusive ManiPops! Concrete (starts at P250) pays homage to Manila itself wherein a spoonful of the frozen custard would take you back to afternoons and weekends spent frolicking near Manila Bay. The dessert itself is blended with salted caramel sauce, peanut butter, sliced peanut brittle and topped with caramel popcorn. This is definitely a decadent way to end your visit at the Shack.
