We Finally Have Our First Glimpse of Park Seo Joon in the MCU

(SPOT.ph) Worlds collide. Or should we say, multiverses collide? Bad puns aside, we finally have our first glimpse of Park Seo Joon in character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A teaser for The Marvels has dropped, featuring our fave oppa this time with flowing darewesay Loki-esque locks. We'll shut up now so you can enjoy this moment of cinematic history below.

Park Seo Joon MCU character drops in first teaser for Marvel Studio's The Marvels

So we've got the familiar faces of Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Carol Denvers, a.k.a. Captain Marvel (a.k.a. Brie Larson) making a return. She will be joined by Teyonah Parris as the now-grown up Monica Rambeau and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, a.k.a. Ms. Marvel. All three heroes make up the titular Marvels for the upcoming sequel. You probably spotted Monica in WandaVision! This sequel will be directly connected to that TV series, as well as the upcoming Ms. Marvel and Secret Invasion series on streaming platform Disney Plus.

We see Park Seo Joon as some sort of leader of a group celebrating. Now while his character still hasn't been confirmed, not since news broke in 2021, we do have a few more clues, and now a visual, to go by. Screenrant points to rumors of Park playing Captain Marvel's secret husband, a thing that may have happened between the first film and Avengers: Endgame. The Itaewon Class star might also be playing "Marvel Boy," a legacy title carried by different characters in the OG comics universe, meaning he could be either Noh Varr, a wildcard Kree soldier or Wendell Vaugn, a SHIELD agent better known as Quasar.

Whatever his character will be up to in the sequel, all we know for sure is we can't wait for more Park Seo Joon content—especially in the massive MCU.
