Fans of Itaewon Class Will Want to Watch This New Netflix K-Drama
It stars Itaewon Class and SKY Castle's Kim Dong Hee!
(SPOT.ph) Academics is an integral part of a student's life in school, while other activities like sports and clubs help round out the experience. For the teens from Netflix's latest original K-Drama Extracurricular, streaming on April 29, non-academic activities are a little bit more life-or-death.
The upcoming series follows four high school students—model student Ji Soo (Itaewon Class and SKY Castle's Kim Dong Hee), accomplice Gyu Ri (Park Ju Hyun), mean girl Min Hee (Jung Da Bin), and her boyfriend Ki Tae (Nam Yoon Su)—who just want to get into a good university. Willing to do whatever it takes to achieve that, the group ends up committing a crime, and must deal with the violent consequences. Veteran director Kim Jin Min worked with newbie writer Jin Han Sae to bring Extracurricular to life.
