(SPOT.ph) From your first high school crush, to your first breakup, and even getting that drastic makeover after a pivotal episode in your life, Taylor Swift has been there to provide songs to sing along to, no matter what emotion or moment you're going through.Â
Swift recently released "You Need To Calm Down," which not only serves as her playful jab at haters, but also an anthem that quashes homophobia. The music video for the song will be released tonight, June 17, at 8:15 p.m.Â
Swift posted a teaser video on her Instagram, giving a quick rundown of who to expect in the "You Need To Calm Down" music video. Needless to say, it's quite star-studded. Here are some of them: Comedian and host Ellen DeGeneres, actress Laverne Cox of Orange Is the New Black, actor Ryan Reynolds, the Fab Five from Queer Eye (Jonathan van Ness, Karamo Brown, Antoni Porowski, Bobby Berk, and Tan France), singer Ciara, drag queen RuPaul, Broadway actor Billy Porter, singer and American Idol alumnus Adam Lambert, figure skater Adam Rippon, Modern Family actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson and husband Justin Mikita, singer Hayley Kiyoko, singer and dancer Todrick Hall, dancer Chester Lockhart, model Dexter Mayfield, and YouTuber Hannah Hart.
There seems to be a lot to look forward to in the music video, aside from Swift's celebrity friends. Days before Swift posted the teaser video, Swift has uploaded a bunch of images on her Instagram, ranging from sprinkles, sequinned fabric, a crown, to a tea-party setup.
The synth-filled track is one of the songs in her upcoming 18-track album Lover, which will be out August 23.Â
