V-Day Just Got Better: CCP Is Screening Romance Films for Free
From a Sharon-Gabby starrer to a Cinemalaya Best Film.
(SPOT.ph) Valentine's day is just a few days away and by now, everyone's scrambling to book places and looking for date ideas (if you're planning to treat yourself on that day anyway, good for you!). We know how pricey the ideal date can get, but if you're still clueless as to what to do as the day approaches, here's one date idea that won't break the bank: The Cultural Center of the Philippines' Arthouse Cinema will be screening two romance films for free from February 14 to 15 at the CCP Tanghalang Manuel Conde.
Sana Dati (2013)
Screening date and time: February 14, 3 p.m.
Directed by Jerrold Tarog, Cinemalaya 2013 Best Film Sana Dati sees Andrea (Lovi Poe) about to marry Robert (TJ Trinidad), a man she doesn't truly love. On her wedding day, a guest (Paulo Avelino) appears to remind her of the man that once held her heart.
Dear Heart (1981)
Screening date and time: February 15, 3 p.m.
This film directed by Danny Zialcita stars Gabby Concepcion as Jimmy and Sharon Cuneta as April, two individuals exploring the excitement of first love. The film also stars the late Eddie Garcia, Liza Lorena, Rosemarie Gil, and Ronaldo Valdez.
Entry will be on a strict first-come, first-served basis. Registration outside the theater starts 30 minutes before each screening.
