The Record of Youth Trailer Just Dropped and We Can't Get Enough of the Parks
It's a pairing we didn't know we needed.
(SPOT.ph) Just when you thought you were running out of prime K-Drama content to binge-watch, a new trailer comes in—thank god. The official trailer for Record of Youth, starring Park Bo Gum (a.k.a. everyone's fave "Bogummy") and Park So Dam (Parasite's scary-cunning Kim Ki Jeong), has just dropped! You can watch the series when it hits Netflix on September 7, but in the meantime we'll cut this intro short and present the goods you came for:
Record of Youth follows aspiring model and actor Sa Hye Jun (Bo Gum) and makeup artist Ahn Jeong Ha (So Dam) as they try and make it to the top of their careers—without losing their sense of self (or disappointing their family). Relatable, right? Well, when So Dam's character said "Fan-girling over you is what keeps me going," it definitely reached extreme levels of relatability. We're spotting some refreshing realness to this series, kind of with the same vibe as Itaewon Class and Reply 1988 (which also starred Bogummy).
The series has director Ahn Gil Ho—whose previous works include Memories of the Alhambra—at its helm as well as writer Ha Myung Hee. Plus, this might just be Bogummy's last K-Drama work for a while as he is set to enlist in the South Korean army on August 31!
