(SPOT.ph) It's been a big week for television lawyers. Even with Saul Goodman hanging up the colored suit for the final time in the series finale of Better Call Saul and Jennifer Walters, Attorney at Law making her MCU debut on Disney+ with She-Hulk, the clear highlight on streaming this past week was Netflix's premier legal drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo wrapping up its freshman season on Thursday, August 18th.
The K-Drama finished at the top spot of Netflix's most popular shows in the Philippines after its finale dropped online. Wrapping up the hacker and strained mother-son relationship storyline with a neat bow, the first season's finale also provided enough closure for Young-woo's (Park Eun-bin) personal and professional lives that you might be worried that the series is a one-and-done. However, don't press the panic button just yet; a second season is already on the way.

Here's what we know about the second season of Extraordinary Attorney Woo:
The first, and most obvious, info on Extraordinary Attorney Woo season two that we have is that it's confirmed to be happening. During the week of the finale's airing, CEO of AStory and producer Lee Sang Baek confirmed to Korean media outlets (via Soompi) both that season two is in active development and the expected release date of the season, saying:
“Thanks to the support of many people, we will produce Season 2 of Extraordinary Attorney Woo. The goal is to air Season 2 in 2024.”
In even better news, the producer stated that they'll be trying their best to keep the original cast and crew of the series on board for the second season. “As long as there are no unexpected changes, the goal is to maintain more than 90 percent of the same members as now," he said. So yes, we can expect more of that rollercoaster relationship between Young-woo and Lee Joon-ho (Kang Tae-oh). The question is, will our hearts be able to take it?
In even better-er news, season two is not all we're getting! Since the second season is quite a way's away, we'll be getting specials based on the world of Extraordinary Attorney Woo between now and then. The specials will come in the form of serial webtoons and possibly even a musical. Place your bets on which K-pop idol they could get to guest star in the musical.
While they're most likely still conceptualizing what the new legal dramas of the next season are, it's safe to say that we'll see Young-woo take on some meatier and more intense cases due to her becoming a full-time member of Hanbada at the end of the season.
Extraordinary Attorney Woo is currently streaming with 16 episodes on Netflix.
