The Saw Movies Are Dropping on Netflix Just In Time for Halloween

(SPOT.ph) With September in the Philippines bringing out the Christmas lights, festive decorations, and the chaotic combined energy of Jose Marie Chan and Mariah Carey, it may become easy to forget that the spook-tacular season of Halloween is just around the corner.
Normally, we'd bust out relatively tame horror films, in the vein of the gothic romance Crimson Peak, the spooky animation Monster House, or the slasher-comedy Fright Night, to kick off the Halloween season—because our inner children are cowards, to be frank(enstein)—but this year, we've got our eyes locked on starting "spooktober" in a more brutal fashion, as the Saw movies start streaming on Netflix Philippines this October.

Here are all the Saw movies on Netflix Philippines:
On their Worth the Wait tab, Netflix Philippines has listed the first four Saw movies for release on Saturday, October 1. The perfect date to kick off a month of scares indeed, with Saw being one of the most popular franchises centered on horror, shock, and gore.
The Saw films are centered on twisted and elaborate torture games created by the masked maniac known as Jigsaw. These "games," as Jigsaw refers to them, all inflict serious physical and psychological damage onto the participants, with the intent of testing their will to live and making them want to reassess the harmful decisions they've made in life.
Released in 2004, the first film was brought to the audience by The Conjuring and Insidious duo James Wan and Leigh Whannell. Following this, Darren Lynn Bousman took over the director's chair for Saw's II through IV from 2005 to 2007. Bousman recently returned to the franchise for the 2021 standalone sequel film Spiral, starring Chris Rock, Max Minghella, and Samuel L. Jackson.
The original four Saw movies will join Jigsaw and Spiral, the eighth and ninth movies in the franchise, respectively, which are already streaming on Netflix.
Saw (2004), Saw II, Saw III, and Saw IV start streaming on Netflix on October 1.
