Below, we list down 10 store openings from 2025 that got us excited and raring to browse, try on, and shop.

After a few pop-ups and several blind boxes ordered online, you'll be happy to know Chinese toy store Pop Mart has finally opened up shop in Manila for good. The permanent store is located in SM Megamall and while queues seem to be a constant for Pop Mart, we guarantee the goods and displays are well worth the wait especially for collectors and fans, with characters like Labubu, Hirono, Molly, Skullpanda, and Crybaby waiting to greet customers upon entry. We're sounding out a prayer for your wallet.

Athleisure fans and fitness junkies swear by Alo Yoga's stylish yet laidback pieces, so it comes as no surprise that the store's opening in Manila was met with buzz. Prior to opening up shop in the Philippines, Filipinos had to order online or buy pieces abroad during trips so they could seamlessly go from a shift or running errands to hitting the gym or studio complete with a chic OOTD. The cult-fave brand offers apparel and gear for yoga, pilates, and more activities, alongside other lifestyle goods like hoodies, sweats, sneakers, caps, and socks. Our fave would have to be their sweatshirts and quarter-zips that make for a reliable airport outfit.

Japanese luggage brand Lojel is a favorite amongst Filipino travelers and for good reason. Known for its durability, security, and versatility, Lojel luggage have been top of mind for the modern globetrotter who's intentional about their items and travel. While already available in the Philippines accross many The Travel Club branches, nothing beats being able to shop the brand's goods in person and comparing the different styles and colors. Lojel opened a concept store earlier this year, providing Filipino shoppers a dedicated space to browse not just their hero products—the Cubo and Voja—but also their catalog of other travel goods like daypacks, weekenders , overnight bags, and accesorries like wallets, key holders, phone straps and more. The store also serves as a customization, repair, and maintenance hub for your Lojel pieces.

Filipinos love their sneakers and it's about time ABC Mart opened a branch in the Philippines. The Japanese footwear retailer is a go-to for Filipino travelers on trips, and now you don't need to book a flight to nab the latest drops and limited-edition designs. It's not just a regular ABC Mart planted in Manila—it's an ABC Mart Grand Stage which carries the latest in footwear along with high-end collabs and releases you won't find anywhere else. The two-story branch is a haven for sneakerheads, but they also have apparel and accessories, along with cool displays worthy of the 'Gram.

Singaporean bag brand The Paper Bunny has bee making waves among the Metro's young and stylish for a while now, with many acquiring their totes during a trip to the Lion City, and some more than willing to pay shipping fees to get them straight from the website. The wait is over: The Paper Bunny finally opened up shop in Manila, and it's even bigger than the ones in home country Singapore, complete with a dedicated room for exhibitions, activities, and special activations. The classic Arc in multiple sizes is available at the store, along with the cute Puffer Swing, the roomy Totes, and the brand's kitschy bag charms, reusable foldable tote bags, and other lifestyle goods.

A quick scroll through your social media feed will guarantee the appearance of at least one Vivaia ad. Its ubiquity has earned the interest of many Filipino shoppers, and while the lack of reviews and steep shipping prices may have detered shoe fiends from adding to cart, there's now no excuse not to get yourself a pair. The American brand popped-up in Power Plant Mall in January 2025 and has since opened up several permanent stores across the Metro, with SM Megamall being their first branch. Each pair is recycled from plastic bottles, promises comfort, and is washable, so you can slip into a pair without worries.

U.K.'s beloved sports fashion retailer JD Sports set down roots in Manila earlier this year with the first branch in SM Mall of Asia, followed by two more stores in the Metro opening later. Crowd-favorite brands like Nike, Adidas, Puma, New Balance, Asics, Salomon, and On can all be found under the JD Sports roof, offering not just footwear, but also the latest in apparel and accessories. The Malaysian bag brand named after its founder—known for its trendy silhouettes and wide array of colorways—first hosted a pop-up in SM Megamall before finally moving into their permanent store in the same mall. Be it large totes that can carry everything but the sink, dainty handbags that are both functional and cute, or a reliable all-rounder bag that's not too big, not too small, Christy Ng has something for everyone. In several colors, too!

Playful and effortlessly cool in its effort to be sustainable, Danish fashion brand GANNI came to Manila in the form of a pop-up at Power Plant Mall in October. Manila's fashionable folk were no doubt excited about its arrival, bringing with it a high-end shopping experience that houses edgy twists on classic silhouettes sure to be appreciated by grown-ups who learned to keep their child-like sense of fun. Its signature leopard print was not to be missed, boldy painted across shirts, accessories, apparel, and their footwear.

One could argue that Italian lux sneaker brand Golden Goose's unmistakable rugged look doesn't quite match its Manila store's distinctly floral aesthetic, but it is the juxtaposition that beckons you to enter. Planted in the middle middle of Greenbelt 5 amongst the trees, the Golden Goose greenhouse is hard to miss. The distressed, lived-in sneakers can be purchased and customized inside, and you can even take home a flower arrangement as a keepsake for your shopping experience.
