Vintage Stores Are Setting Up a Flea Market in Escolta for One Day Only

(SPOT.ph) Online shopping and quick sales may provide an instant serotonin boost, but nothing beats falling in love with a piece at first sight, especially if it's a unique, vintage item no one else will own. It's totally yours, and it carries the stories of those who owned it before. If you're on the hunt for kitschy finds and novel knickknacks both old and new, you'll want to check out SECOND CHANCES: Vintage Community Flea Market in Manila.

There's something for everyone at the SECOND CHANCES: Vintage Community Flea Market

Presented by souvenir shop Glorious Dias, and vintage stores Season Pass and The Vintage Junkie Manila in partnership with local creative hubs HUB | Make Lab and Pineapple Lab PH housed in First United Building, the weekend flea market is a mingling of different eras and geographies all infused into curios and textiles you can bring home. From the funky '60s to the spunky Y2K, there's something here for everyone. Pinoy pop-culture maven 90s KABAKLAAN will also be present with a pop-up exhibition. 

It will only run for one day—May 28, that's a Sunday—at the First United Bulding from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Most merchants have GCash, but it's best to have cash and change just to be sure.

You'll find the usual stuff like garments of every type, hats, bags, shoes, and more, but you can also expect home goods, jewelry, paper goods, music records, and even digicams from the 2000s for the legit Y2K experience.
