(SPOT.ph) Let’s be real, time off is best spent with loved ones, and by loved ones, we mean your furry friends who keep you sane. There are a handful of pet-friendly places in the Metro, sure, but should you want to chill in the east of Quezon City, specifically in the Libis area, you can find a handful of spots where you can spend fun quality time with them. From malls and open spaces to pet-friendly cafes, pet resorts, and stores, we listed them down below.

Check out these pet-friendly spots in Libis, Quezon City where you can relax with your pets:
Eastwood
Eastwood—which, ICYDK, is Megaworld and the Philippines’ first-ever township development—has a handful of establishments and spaces that cater to pets. Yup, it’s not just home to countless companies, shops, restaurants, and other amenities for hoomans, but also for their beloved fur babies to roam around and enjoy it with. They weren’t touted as the very first pet-friendly mall in 2004 by the Philippine Animal Welfare Society for naught. Check out the spots where you can chill with your four-legged babies around Eastwood below.
Eastwood Mall
Pets are welcome inside the mall! Just make sure to get a Pet Pass at the concierge. There’s an open park where you can just take a breather with your pets on the picnic tables situated just outside the mall. You can walk by pet obstacle courses in some areas for your pets’ daily dose of exercise, too.
Eastwood City Walk
Just a few steps away from the mall is another open area where you can spend the afternoon with your fur babies. The Eastwood City Walk has restaurants with al fresco dining options stretching around the Eastwood Central Plaza, where yes, you can also bring your pets in for a nice stroll. Events for our furry friends are also held here, like Eastwood’s annual pet blessings that have been going around since 2004.

Barkhaus
You’ll find anything and everything for your pets’ well-being inside Barkhaus. From being a cat boarding house, pet hotel, grooming place, and indoor play park, to a studio and even a spot where they can get Puppucino and other pet treats and trinkets. If you want to chill at their in-house cafe and let them play for a while on their own (or with other furry friends), there’s a two-hour fee of P300 that covers the entrance of your pet (a.k.a. "barkmate") and two human companions.

Puppy’s Kitchen
And so you and your pets have been enjoying your walk around the area and are looking for a way to recharge. Why don’t you grab grub at the new go-to spot for fur parents and fur babies alike, Puppy’s Kitchen? There’s a wide array of homemade dog- and cat-friendly treats that are all developed by pet nutrition experts. Don’t worry, there’s a menu for the pawsome fur parents, too.

Furry Brats Pets Resort
You know how relaxing a dip in the pool is, and you want your fur babies to experience the same joy it gives you. Furry Brats Pet Resort is an indoor waterpark for dogs situated in Manggahan, Pasig. You can swim with your pets in a three-foot-deep pool starting at P399. All dogs of any breed and size are welcome to splash around and have fun! Pool party, anyone?

Parklinks
There’s nothing that makes for good quality time with your pets more than going out for a walk. Go for a relaxing one with your fur babies by the Parklinks Bridge and its surrounding green spaces and parks. There are trails where you can trudge along in the mornings or afternoons with your furry babies. Just make sure to bring everything they need: water, snacks, diapers, and other necessities for a more convenient and enjoyable time.

Sillon All Day Breakfast
You can grab breakfast or sip some coffee while enjoying the cool morning breeze at the outdoor dining space of Sillon All Day Breakfast with your beloved pets beside you. While their al fresco area is open for pets, fur parents should always practice responsible ownership when dining in!

Hachi Park
Just by the name itself, Hachi—after Hachiko, the famous loyal dog in Japan, IFYKYK—the strip park is a dedicated space for your four-legged best friends to have fun. You can first familiarize yourself with the rules and regulations, then just sit back and let your pets run even without a leash and have the best time of their lives inside the small space secured by a high fence. All dogs are required to have updated vaccinations.

Pet Village
No family gets left behind. True enough, your fur babies are sure to come with you when you go out on a shopping spree or just window shopping at the pet-friendly Tiendesitas. It’s a mecca for pet owners. Maybe you can also get them some essentials at the Pet Village, a.k.a. a one-stop shop for all things pets located in the area. From pet treats, food, supplies, toys, and even grooming services, all in one place.
