Casa Recuerdos de Taal lets its customers don period costumes, such as different styles of traje de mestiza for women; barong, suits, friar, and soldier costumes for men; and smaller outfits for kids during the pictorials. The photo studio is open every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and allows both reservations and walk-in shoots.
The P400 shoot fee per person includes the use of clothes and props and two 5R-sized printed souvenir photos. A minimum of four participants is required for this package. Note that if there are fewer than four subjects for the shoots, a different rate will be charged. So best to gather up your friends and family and try this one together.
Casa Recuerdos de Taal is located at one of Batangas' heritage houses. If you're worried whether the photos will look authentic, rest easy because there are no green-room effects here. The furniture, capiz windows, and old aparador are all antique.
