Here's what we know about the upcoming Minion Land zone at Universal Studios Singapore:
After starting construction in 2022, Universal Studios Singapore (USS) is gearing up for the last stages of development of its upcoming Minion Land. Slated to open in late 2024, the new themed zone in USS will feature state-of-the-art rides, meet-and-greets with beloved characters like Bob and Kevin, and Despicable Me-themed restaurants and shops.
The main attraction at the new Minion-themed zone will be the Despicable Me Minion Mayhem 3D ride. The 3D motion-simulator ride will bring visitors through Gru’s house and into his laboratory, where riders get to meet the mischievous characters and be turned into Minions (not literally, we think). Aside from this, the new zone will be home to USS' first exclusive and original ride, which is still kept under wraps as a surprise.
Minion Land at Universal Studios Singapore is part of Resorts World Sentosa's new post-pandemic tourism development plan. It replaced the Madagascar-themed area, which used to be the first zone guests were treated to when they entered the park.
