Agoda reveals travel wish list for local travelers.
(SPOT.ph) While we have yet to be able to confidently travel again, most of us have been dreaming about where to go next as soon as quarantine restrictions ease. And apparently, we've been exploring destinations online, too. Digital travel platform Agoda ranked the cities Filipinos have been looking at the most lately and the results are in: Manila, Boracay Island, Batangas, Bohol, and Palawan are among the top destinations in our online searches.

Travelers around the world, on the other hand, are looking forward to international adventures. Taiwan tops the charts, whether for couples, solo travelers, families, or groups. But Japan comes in second for solo travelers, and Thailand ranks number two for families.
“While Agoda’s search data has seen a shift toward domestic destinations as regulations are being eased for domestic travel, people are still dreaming about international adventures. What Agoda’s data is showing us is there is still a hunger to travel. People are keen on exploring their own countries whether alone, with family, or with friends. They are also looking forward to visiting their dream international destinations too once it's safe to do so and are looking for the best deals for when that time comes," said Tim Hughes, Agoda's Vice President for Corporate Development.
