Ben & Ben, December Avenue + More to Play at Clark's Hot Air Balloon Fest
It's two whole days of food, music, and hot air balloon displays.
(SPOT.ph) To say that 2020 was a weird year is an understatement. The Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta (a.ka. the "longest-running aviation event in Asia") moved out of its home in Clark Freeport Zone and went to Carmona in Cavite, then a newcomer—the Clark Aurora Fest—hoped to make some waves in the hot air balloon event business. While the OG "Weekend of Everything That Flies" managed to push through with their crowd-drawing fair just before the lockdown was imposed, Clark Aurora Fest had to postpone theirs. But with restrictions now lifted, the latter is finally having its debut from June 10 to 11 at Clark Global City in Pampanga. The event is officially titled Aurora 2022: Clark Music Festival and Hot Air Balloon Display.
Old tickets, whether damaged or faded (it's been two years, after all), are valid. Just bring them with you on the day of the event. You may also refund your old passes via SM Tickets if you still can't go this year.
If you're buying your tickets just now, they're being sold online for P500 per day. VIP tickets are at P1,000, while SVIP tickets are at P3,000 (exclusive of fees).
Aurora 2022: Clark Music Festival and Hot Air Balloon Display is from June 10 to 11 at Clark Global City, Pampanga. Tickets, which start at P500, are available through their website.
UPDATE (April 13): Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta on April 12 released a statement reiterating that their Foundation "is not the organizer" of Aurora 2022: Clark Music Festival and Hot Air Balloon Display. They also "disclaim any association with the organization or management of the said event."
