There's also the option of hopping on a bus, which can be driven to a cargo ship—one that we call RORO (for roll-on, roll-off)—to allow it to travel across islands. While there are several bus terminals in Metro Manila, the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange is one of the most convenient hubs, especially since the common port for RORO is also in the southern part of Luzon, specifically in Batangas. From there, you can easily reach the Bicol Region, travel to Leyte or Iloilo, and even go further south to Davao City.
