(SPOT.ph) Fried chicken is one of those things we could have almost every day. While all our plans to go out may be on hold for the time being, what’s great is that you can still find it at a number of places and get it delivered straight to your doorstep. Bad Bird
There’s fried chicken, and then there’s Bad Bird’s Umami Fried Chicken, which has an especially flavorful exterior full of—as the name implies—umami goodness. The good news is, you can now get a selection of their dishes for delivery via GrabFood, Foodpanda, Grab Assistant, or Lalamove—including their signature chicken, which is available with rice and gravy (P280), with steamed rice, house gravy, and Sweet Potato Waffle (P430), with steamed rice, house gravy, and Torched Corn & Cheese (P375), or just with their Sesame Caesar Salad (P380).

Jollibee
Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, Jollibee’s Chickenjoy is popular to Pinoys for a reason. Thankfully, the local fast-food chain delivers from a number of branches. You can get your chicken fix either by purchasing their frozen chicken (P219/eight pieces), available at selected branches for a limited time, and cooking it at home—or ordering a ready-to-eat meal. Treat yourself with a one-piece plate with rice and gravy (P84/solo, P99/value meal) or two-piece plate with rice and gravy (P168/solo, P187/value meal), or share a six-piece bucket (P439/solo, P495/value meal), or eight-piece bucket (P549/solo, P659/value meal) with the family.

8 Cuts
More than great burgers, 8 Cuts makes a mean fried chicken, very aptly named the Heavyweight Fried Chicken (P192)—and it’s available for delivery via GrabFood and Foodpanda. Not only does it live up to its name, size-wise; it’s also got a great balance of firmness and tenderness with flavor that reaches right down to the bone.

Greenwich
Greenwich may be known for their pizza and pasta, but no meal here is complete without their Crunchy Chicken, which is well-seasoned with a resounding crispiness on the outside. Are you team Original Recipe or Hot and Crispy? Regardless of your answer, you’ll be happy to know that KFC offers their fried chicken for delivery. You can get your choice of chicken as part of a number of combos, including the 1-Piece Chicken Ala Carte (P89) with steamed rice; 2-Piece Chicken Meal with steamed rice and a drink (P170); Famous Bowl Fully Loaded Meal (P166) with mushroom soup, their Famous Bowl, steamed rice, and your choice of drink; and the Bucket of 6 (P430).

Kettle
Kettle’s Buttermilk Fried Chicken took home the top spot in our 2019 Top 10 Southern-Style Fried Chicken in Manila list for its hint of spice and excellent balance of tenderness and crunch. And now, you can get a platter (P650) that comes with two pieces of chicken, three cornbread muffins, honey, and gravy for delivery. Pro tip: Be sure to get a little of everything in each bite.

McDonald’s
McDonald’s Chicken McDo is known for its savory seasoning and gravy with the right amount of meaty flavor and acidity for balance. The good news is that they deliver from selected branches. Satisfy your chicken hankerings with the two-piece Chicken McDo (P165/ala carte) or Chicken and Spaghetti (P118/ala carte), or go all out with the McShare Box with eight pieces of chicken (P510).

Señor Pollo
Señor Pollo is famed for their crispy, peppery fried chicken that’s served with an array of sides—and yes, you can get it delivered through Foodpanda, LalaFood, or GrabFood. It can be had regular or spicy—go for the 1-Piece with Two Sides (P194) if you’re dining solo or get a Whole Fried Chicken (P651) to share with the family. For sides, we can’t recommend their Spicy Rice and Fried Plantains enough.

Pancake House
Pancake House’s Classic Pan Chicken has a uniquely citrusy, savory profile that goes great with a mountain of steamed white rice. You can’t go wrong with the two-piece plate (P210), which comes with rice and gravy. If you’re looking to share, you can opt to get a box of eight pieces (P749), which comes with four cups of rice.

Wildflour
Wildflour has proven they’ve got a good hand on a lot of things: pastries, kimchi fried rice, and even fried chicken. It offers a hearty crunch that’s perfect paired with their flaky biscuits. Dining solo? They offer an à la carte version (P730) that you can get for takeout or delivered (you’ll have to book your own Grab or Lalamove) from their BGC branch. But if you’d rather share the fun with your family, you can opt to get a bigger tray of the dish (P2,780) from their delivery service, Wildflour To-Go.
