Mamou is the first place that comes to mind for a lot of people when you say "steak", and for good reason. Whether you go for the Angus Ribeye (P1,990/400 grams, P3,590/800 grams), Dry-Aged Bone-in Ribeye Steak (P3,690/600 grams, P4,690/800 grams), Dry-Aged T-Bone Steak (P3,690/700 grams), and Dry-Aged Porterhouse Steak (P4,690/one kilogram), you're assured of a juicy and flavorful steak, every time. La Cabrera

La Cabrera specializes in steak done the South-American way, grilled with a top-secret method that results in tender and succulent meat. Choose from steak cuts like the Ojo de Bife (P3,132/500 grams) a.k.a. ribeye, Cuadril (P2,952/500 grams) a.k.a. coulette or top sirloin, and Bife de Chorizo (P4,248/400 grams, P5,871/600 grams) a.k.a. Bondi & Bourke


This Australian establishment exemplifies the "simple, done right" mantra in their steaks, which employ top-notch beef for the best-tasting results. You can go for the Prime-Grade Black Angus Australian AA Wagyu (P2,190/350 grams, P3,790/600 grams), or the Jack's Creek Australian Black Angus Striploin (P1,890/350 grams, P3,290/600 grams). Cibo may be better known for their pizza and pasta, but they make a mean La Bistecca (P1,885/500 grams, P5,139/1,500 grams) a.k.a. ribeye steak. An order comes with tomatoes, onion, lemon, sugo (tomato sauce), and parsley rice pilaf. You can try it for yourself through Cibo's website or by calling their hotline.

Swiss-French restaurant L'Entrecote is practically an institution in the BGC area. They're primarily known for their L'Entrecote Steak, or their take on steak-frites (steak and fries), which they serve with secret herb butter sauce and house salad. You can get an eight-ounce portion made with U.S. Angus Choice Sirloin Steak for P1,490, or a 12-ounce portion made with U.S. CAB Sirloi Steak for P2,680. If you're after a more traditional steak, you can also get the U.S. CAB Tomahawk Rib Bone Steak (P3,880/21 ounces) or the U.S. CAB Tenderloin (P2,160/six ounces). CRU Steakhouse


CRU Steakhouse is Manila Marriott Hotel's in-house steak establishment. They boasta chic and old-fashioned vibe and a selection of hand-cut, dry-aged steaks any true-blue carnivore will find satisfaction in. They have a short-but-sweet delivery menu consisting of the U.S. Certified Angus Beef Prime Rib Steak (P6,300/900 grams) and Cape Grim Tenderloin Center Cut (P3,700/500 grams). Each order comes with four sides (some of which are the whipped potatoes, five-cheese baked macaroni, and black truffle risotto) and two sauces (choose from black pepper, forest mushroom, and red wine sauces). Myron's is a well-loved Makati institution that's been around for more than a decade, so you know they're doing something right. You can get their Certified Angus Beef Ribeye steaks (P2,335/240 grams, P4,180/450 grams), which comes of your choice of starch (mashed or baked potato, french fries, garlic rice, or steamed rice) and sauce (peppercorn or mushroom). You can send them a message on Facebook to order, and pay via BDO bank deposit. You'll then have to book a courier to pick it up from their Ascott Makati outpost.

Established in 1987, Melo's continues to be a favorite for great-tasting, juicy steaks using sought-after cuts of beef, like Certified Angus Beef and Japanese Wagyu. Some of the options you can go for are the Angus Ribeye (P318/ounce), Angus T-Bone (P288/ounce), Angus Tomahawk (P308/ounce), A5 Wagyu Ribeye (P1,008/ounce), and A5 Wagyu Tenderloin (P1,308/ounce)—all of which come with potatoes and vegetables on the side.
