Let's unload all of that, shall we? It's nice to see Scarlett Johansson back as Russian spy Natasha Romanoff, and it seems we'll get a look at her life before joining the Avengers. There's no shortage of grand action scenes and tight fighting sequences, with new characters added to the mix: Florence Pugh (Midsommar, Little Women) stars as Yelena, who Natasha calls her "sis," David Harbour as Alexei or The Red Guardian who still fits into his fabulous suit, and Rachel Weisz as Melina or The Iron Maiden. If the trailer is anything to go by, it looks like Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has a lot of surprises.
Black Widow is set to hit U.S. theaters on May 1, 2020, and while a Philippine release date is still to follow, we know you're wishing 2020 would come sooner.
