Ebe Dancel to Give an Online Concert You Can Watch for Free

It's part of a series called Bayanihan, Musikahan!

(SPOT.ph) With folks cooped up at home to prevent the spread of COVID-19, artists have decided to go online and comfort fans with music. Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie, Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol, and John Legend have gone live on their social media accounts to be one with fans during this tough time. Foreign singers are livestreaming their performances, and you can count on Pinoy artists to follow suit: Ebe Dancel will go live on his official Facebook page on March 20 at 9:30 p.m. to perform his songs for fans at home.

The upcoming concert is part of Bayanihan, Musikahan, a series of online gigs featuring local artists. Composer Ryan Cayabyab first introduced the project during his own live concert on March 19, saying that the series of online gigs aims to raise funds for the daily wagers who can't go out of their homes to work because of the "enhanced community quarantine."

Our fingers are crossed that the former Sugarfree frontman will take requests! We're hoping he'll play these hits:

"Hari ng Sablay"

"Wag Ka Nang Umiyak"
