PSA: It's Your Last Month to Stream Legend of the Blue Sea on Netflix

(SPOT.ph) Whether or not you're a certified K-Drama stan, we're sure you've heard of Gianna Jun. Or at least the 2001 rom-com hit My Sassy Girl rings a bell! If it does, then note that one of the Hallyu star's biggest K-Drama series—aside from Kingdom and My Love from the Star—leaves Netflix in October. Yup, we're talking about Legend of the Blue Sea, the fantasy romance she starred in with Lee Min Ho.

Jun and Lee take on the roles of a mermaid who finds herself on land and an expert con-man respectively in this sometimes funny, sometimes dramatic series. It is based on an old Joseon legend about a fisherman who captures a mermaid—then sets her free. And yup, the K-Drama also bounces back and forth between two love stories in different time periods.

It stars Ok Taecyeon as Bong Pal, a more or less ordinary guy who happens to see spirits. When he comes across the feity wandering spirit of Hyun Ji (Kim So Hyun) they end up as ghost-fighting partners.
