(SPOT.ph) As if you needed any more reason to go online shopping: Lee Min Ho has partnered up with Lazada! The Korean actor is now the e-commerce platform's first brand ambassador for Southeast Asia—right in time for the kick-off of the much-awaited annual 11.11 Shopping Festival. Plus, we might just see the oppa working with Kathryn Bernardo, Lazada's local brand ambassador. Wouldn't that be an epic crossover?
The shopping platform made the official announcement today, October 15. A television commercial is in the works just for 11.11, said Lazada in a statement. The commercial will show us what Lee Min Ho's online shopping routine is like so we can't wait for the sneak peek into his "add to cart" habits. "I’m pleased to be part of this story and play a role in uplifting spirits and sharing more happiness with my fans and consumers in Southeast Asia," said the Korean actor.
Meanwhile, he and Bernardo have already worked together for Lazada—only virtually, according to a press statement. "Super nagulat ako! Hindi ko inexpect na siya 'yong kukunin," said Bernardo. "Hopefully, ‘pag maayos na lahat to, he can visit us here kasi ang dami niyang supporters dito sa Philippines, including me." We have our fingers crossed, too!
Lee Min Ho had Pinoy audiences hooked when he first landed on our screens in the South Korean remake of Boys Over Flowers in 2009. We're still not over the perm he sported as F4 leader Gu Jun Pyo! More than a decade later, he caught our attention again as the fearless Emperor Lee Gon in 2020's The King: Eternal Monarch.
this strange new world.
